Just had 10% of our guests drop out 5 days before the wedding so were now approx 25% under the number we have paid for Grr

Arghh can't sleep lol.
Went over the guest list last night and ate down to 37 guests from over 50. Some genuinely can't make it due to work etc but some are guests who you realise aren't worth the hassle. Me and h2b share a lot of army friends, who were invited, but all but 1 ( the bm) are now not coming because ' it's to much effort' tho there's no doubt I'll see drunken pictures of them out on the same night *sigh* oh well the important people are there that's what matters x sorry to rant!

Tilly sorry to hear your numbers have dropped, ours have to really annoying isn't it. As you say though the people that will be there are the ones that matter.

Ditto on the last minute drop-outs. One friend texted last night to say her husband couldn't make it as he'd made other plans to be away for the same weekend without realising, so it would just be her... Fine, whatever, but why can't he text OH seeing as that's where the friendship is more than between me & her?! We haven't seen these friends since their own wedding last year - but she spent the weeks before !!!!!ing to me about last minute drop-outs! Pot? Kettle? Black?!

So stressful isn't it all this wedding planning.

My mum isn't to good, shes waiting to hear if shes fractured her shin bone her bones are totally wrecked aswell after the chemo.She won't be able to get my dress to me so im going to have to get to her to get it which is a 3 hr round trip.

The hotel just called to say we can set up earlier and oh was going to take the day off to help set up but now he can't as we were told we had lost the set up time grr.

Sorry guys all i feel like i do now is rant
