Just has the rehearsal. Was really nice and has settled my nerves a little! Was only my oh myself, mum dad and kids as everyone else lives miles away.

I'm arriving via rickshaw so have walked to route again tonight to check path widths etc but all seems ok. Can't wait now.

Pm I hope you can get it sorted. Could one of us perhaps ring the hotel as a potential and ask what dj they use?

ghawdon - i took my engagement ring into h samuels this afternoon to be resized 2 sizes down. paid £35 plus £5 for the fast track service, it will go on Tuesday and come back on Friday 31st. it was 2 - 3 weeks not using their fast track system

good job we havent paid the final bill yet, people dropping out left right and centre after they have rsvp'd with a yes grrrrrr. but not going to let it affect me.

2 weeks tomorrow!

Thanks saintly. Took the ring into H Samuel this morning... it'll be back Friday 31st. Cost £51 to have it resized 1 size down but its a small price to pay to be sure it'll be ready in time for the wedding!

My ring arrived this morning along with the personalised cufflinks we ordered for the best man and ushers- my spare room is slowly being taken over with wedding stuff! We've been given some money as a wedding present from a relative so off to buy ourselves kindles this afternoon as we figured they'd be useful on holiday (saves us taking a suitcase full of books away with us!)

We have just dropped below minimum numbers for the wedding breakfast so having to pay for 80 but have 78 coming. Does make our seating plan easier tho :-) :-)

Glad u managed to get the ring sorted hunni, deffo worth the extra cashto guarantee it here before the wedding

Just done the final fitting for the oh in his army dress looks very dapper!
Trying my dress tonight to check all is well and that I've not gained/lost to much. Fingers crossed

Rickshaw is nearing completion it's been an up hill battle restoring it but it's going to be well worth it IMHO if I manage to get on a pc any time soon I'll upload piccys

My oh just called the hotel, the manager said the DJ is not good at comunicating so we called him again and got no responce

I would talk to the hotel and say that if they do not get the DJ sorted, it is in breech of their contract as they are supplying him and you will take the money out of the final bill/sue them for the money if they do not get it sorted. What you're going through is ridiculous!

My Hen do is this saturday! and I still don't have a clue what I'm doing. :rotfl: my chief bridesmaid won't tell me! Mother FINALLY got her outfit sorted. Only took 6 months. Now she just needs to find some shoes...

Met with the Venue yesterday so that's all sorted, just got to pay for the day now and get the music to them.

Got to print out our "Advice for the Happy Couple" sheets so people can fill them in. Should be interesting. lol.

I can't believe we're down to 6 days for some of us! :eek: It's actually come around really quickly hasn't it

Nerner they have had all the money owed to them. I wish there was still dome outstanding. I hope the wedding that was there yesterday that was touch and gi went well. I should be really looking forward to getting married, I'm.so angry org the hotel and dj. People say oh it will be over soon but I dint want to be looking at my wedding.g with the view that the day will be over soon.
