My list is getting very short now

Made the seed favours for the wedding breakfast and have folded all the tissue paper for the PomPoms - will tie & fan them out closer to the date. Think I'll assemble the table centrepieces tomorrow...

Hello fellow Sept brides/grooms!

I'm getting in a bit late on this thread I see! We're the 15th in Harrogate - seems a good day to get married!

Nearly all organised. Paying the final bills. Twiddling with the favours & gifts - my brother is so hard to buy for!!

I can't wait. Everyone keeps asking me if I'm nervous. No! A little stressed with all the last finer details to sort. Is everyone else getting that?

Lots to look forward to before the big day too - hen do this weekend, which I think is a spa weekend in the Lakes, 5 more shifts at work until I finish, our 3 year anni on Tues, then pampering and some extra days with the in-laws when they arrive the Weds before the wedding (they live in N.Ireland).

ghawdon - We went onto Herbalife about 5 weeks ago to drop the final kilos and it's really easy to stick to and tasty too - a 2 shakes a day kinda diet. Managed to slim into my dress nicely and aiming to lose another 1/2 stone before 15th to look fab on the honeymoon!

Hey, haven't been on for ages but I have notice some couples getting married on same day as me- Wish your day goes well!

My rings are from Smooch and they've messed up twice! I was promised I will get my rings on 31st Aug. Fingers crossed or we'll have to use plastic rings!
My other situation is I found out a friend who is coming to my wedding had lost her baby at 11 weeks. This is not the first time. Now I really love her to be there but I feel she may not want to go as I know she's vulnerable at present.
I have to let the caterer know the final numbers on Thursday. In a awkward situation on gently asking what does she wish to do!

any advice please as my head has been going round and round on how to best approach it without her taking it wrong way.

Someone very close to me lost a baby at 6 weeks. She walked around like a zoombie is total shock. Even though the baby wasn't born she's probably still grieving and it's an important part for her to come term with whilst i know my friend never has gotten over it and admitted to me that there are days that she still thinks about the baby the hardest thing was at first the consent reminds of what she'd lost be it seeing babies, baby clothes or people talking babies. With regard to the wedding ask her how she feels we all grieve in different ways. Somethings going out and being with people means you don't have time to dwell. you know your friend better than anyone you'll know whether it's best to leave her or whether she'll want to be included but don't push her she's going to need alot of time and suppport.
