  • Use this link to find where you can recycle your Yellow Pages

Sorry, don't know how to do "funky" links :o .

I know that Yell work with many local councils to provide temporary recycling facilities when a new book is delivered to an area and everyone needs to get rid of the old one. They have dedicated containers for YP directories for about 6 weeks after distribution of the new directory. A lot of councils don't want to know unfortunatley but Yell do try to get them on side.

i like the yellow pages. if you just want to look up a shop there is no need to power up the pc, etc type in the website, write down the number, turn the pc off again and go to the phone!. I would think the yellow pages would be 100% faster :)

You mean your pc actually gets switched OFF???????????:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yeah, i switch my pc off :D

My local thing (after clicking on the link posted above) says this

They can also be recycled in the kerbside paper recycling collection.

Banks may currently state ‘No Yellow Pages’, but the banks livery will soon be changed, and in the meantime, please look out for the ‘recycle your old Yellow Pages here’ stickers.

Great idea, we have a yellow pages day for recycling once a year with local recycling collection, but I don't use it and hate waiting a year to get rid of it.
One day I might be more organised...........

They always take Yellow Pages here in not-so-sunny North Somerset :D
I was just about to post the same answer!

They make a big thing about us being able to put them in our green recycle bins so that we dont forget to do it!
At last we were actually more advanced than some other countys

Arghh, can you believe what's landed on my doorstep? Yes a Yellow Pages... Don't think my phone call worked.
