I have been a member of GlobalTestMarket for many years now and have completed their surveys and have always received my cheque with no problems. I was very pleased with them until 2010.
I reach a payout of 2000 points and cashed out as usual. I received an email to advice the cheque would be sent and I would receive it within 6-8 weeks. I was happy with this. But no cheque arrived. I emailed them again and they supposedly again sent a cheque. Waited again but no cheque arrived. I again contacted them and was told ok will send again. Still no cheque arrived -I had also asked if they could pay with Paypal as they seemed to have a problem getting a cheque to me. they said they do not pay using Paypal.
Today I received this email from them.

Hi,
We have confirmed that payment has been sent to you on 3 separate occasions.
Per company policy, we make up to 3 attempts to deliver payment before the
funds are forfeited due to and undeliverable address. No further attempts will be made at this stage.

Surely they cannot just decide not to send me what I am owed? I have lived at same address since I started with them and have always received my cheques previously. I am not having any problems receiving any other post only "This Cheque"
I have emailed again and asked yet again for a managers phone number to try and resolve it.
Has anyone got any ideas please of what I can do now?

Ask them if they will cancel the first three cheques they sent out as lost (I think they send the cheques from the US so I don't know if it's free to do that like it is in the UK, but hopefully they'll do it) - then see if they will send another cheque to a relative or friend's address just on the offchance there's a problem with your post? Just be ridiculously polite and hope it works. I wish they'd just pay by Paypal or BACS! I've been waiting for my cheque for almost the time stated, hope mine turns up now o_O0

Hi
I'm also a member of GTM, I've not completed a survey in ages!!! Luckily I can dump them completely as I only have 495 points. Seems strange and quite suspicious that both of your cheques have been lost, despite being sent 3 times. Hmmm.......0 -

Yes they do send the cheque from US Thriftymanc. I had been very polite up to the last email I sent but have now demaned a phone number to speak with someone re this. They have said they will not issue a 4th cheque to me as they claim they have posted 3 already. I have received my cheques from them previously with no problems at all so I am at a loss as to why this time I did not get my cheque?
Hope your cheque arrives safely!0 -

Yes I think so too Rihanna. Cheque supposed to have been posted 3 times yet never arrives? All other post arrives safely. Especially the bills lol...0 -
Fair enough if they won't send the cheque again in case they think you're trying it on - I know you're not obviously, but they might think anything. But if they won't even try to cancel the other cheques to ensure that you can't get the money multiple times then they're just stupid! That would be the obvious solution for both you and them but sometimes obvious doesn't occur to these people
Hope you manage to speak to someone on the phone and get it sorted.

But what I cannot understand Thriftymanc is why I am not receiving the cheque? I have received cheques from them previously to my address with no problems at all. I just think it is unfair if they decided my address is undeliverable without giving me an option of having it sent somewhere else or paying me by Paypal. It is just so annoying to have built up the points and then for them to say tough luck you did not get the cheques we sent you so you lose the money.
I have asked several times for a phone number but have never received one. I did find one online but could never speak with anyone. I had to leave a message but no one returned my call.0 -

Just read your post Totallybonkers. Yes it is very strange that suddenly your address like mine is now also undeliverable. I have emailed them yet again asking for a phone number to speak with a manager but no reply. Yes they also hit me with the 3 times to send the cheque and then you lose it. I was never offered the chance to use an alternative address? I cannot understand why they cannot use Paypal save all this hassle.
I found this website on another site and have raise a complaint with them at the weekend re GTM. So will let you know if there is any reply.
