Not Receiving Payment from GlobalTestMarket

Hi All, thanks for reading.
I redeemed just over 1000 points from GTM back in August 2010, and sat waiting for my cheque for £40ish.

By November it hadn't arrived so I contacted GTM who checked that it hadn't been cashed and reissued the cheque. During the wait I also redeemed a further 1000 points, requested a chequed which I received quickly and cashed no problem.

Yet again, I didn't recieve the original cheque. More emails to GTM resulting in me having to supply an alternative address to get the cheque posted to, which I did, to my boyfriends house in late December. This third cheque has not arrived and GTM are now telling me that it is their 'policy' to only issue cheques 3 times, after that time funds are forfeited. I don't recall ever reading such a statement and can't find it on their website. My original address is clearly valid as I have recieved a cheque from them before which they can see was cashed. Plus, how is it in my interest to supply a false address and therefore not receive my cheque?

I realise the amount is not huge but when I have now wasted hours of my time completing their surveys (don't even get me started on screenouts), I'm right to feel very pee'd off. :mad:

  • Exactly the same situ with Toluna, been waiting 3 months now for my £15 voucher. Can't complain too much as it wasn't eactly "hard" work, but it's unfair to keep people waiting so long for paymwnt when other, more professional companies (Pinecone for one) pay out immediately.

    I have given up on all but Pinecone for now.

    Never had a problem with GTM, but lately alot of my post has never arrived, even recorded delivery items. I think royal mail has some dodgy employees.
