Where has the search button gone?????

Hi Folks,

We've had to turn off the search facility and last 300 posts as a temporary measure due to the extremely high traffic on the Forums at the moment.

We're loooking at record traffic and it's slowing things down so we need to turn off non-essential services to get us through the busy lunch period. We hope to return services to normal shortly.

The site is not really usable if you do that - you need to look at resolving the problem rather than turning off options.

I imagine they are doing. Having no search facility is better than the site having to go offline for a while imo.

On the menu bar for MSE Forum, I can't see the Search or New Post Buttons???

Is it IE 7 hiding them or there something weird gone on with the forum???
