If you've not had the Barclaycard offer, you can take the trial for £1 direct from the website and get £40 free petrol (via cheque) at the moment: https://www.leisureforall.com/0 -

From sending off the application form, how long does it take for the pack to come.
I sent off around 2 weeks ago, and haven't had anything?0 -
I've just received one of these, in my case a total of £40 bonus for returning a very short (six very basic multiple-choice questions which are unlikely to help any business) "2007 Consumer Questionnaire Poll" from Barclaycard, and it actually says "Your answers to these questions are optional and are appreciated", so you could just return the form in the freepost envelope without writing anything.
It says I will recieve 4x £10 cash-back vouchers, redeemable each quarter for a £10 cheque if I send a petrol receipt of at least £10 with it. As previous posters mentioned it says "These are yours to keep regardless of your membership status" (and hopefully to be able to redeem as well). I don't have a car and therefore don't buy petrol, but my father does and would be able to supply me with appropriate receipts whenever we meet.
One thing that stood out is "Unless you notify LeisureTime not to continue during your trial period, your membership will be automatically continued at the £69.99 annual fee (which includes VAT), billed to your Barclaycard". They also mention "you may cancel at any time during your 30 day free trial period by calling LeisureTime on 0800 389 2347 quoting your membership number which can be found on your welcome letter). Hopefully my welcome letter will arrive within 30 days so that I am able to cancel.
It seems worthwhile my taking up this offer (as I might save a pound or two at the cinema as it says there is "up to 30% discount" at Odeon, Cineworld, Showcase and Empire Cinemas. Hopefully "up to 30%" will be 30% or close to it, and not 5% except for one single underused cinema in the whole country where it is 30% (yes I'm cynical, but rightly so at offers like this).
Has anyone who joined (and quickly left) this LeisureTime scheme had any recent experiences with it that might sway my decision to join or not? Petrol coupons still being redeemed?0 -
My wife joined last year and took full advantage of the petrol coupons, she cancelled during the 30 day trial and had no problems whatsoever.
I am now participating in this promotion as well, i'll cancel a few days after i receive the welcome pack (as she did). Bout time we got something back from the loan people.0 -
Ive just recieved this offer from haliax, £40.
Is it worth doing?
Seems from most peoples opinions it is but would like to hear an update from someone who took this on previously0 -
My mum realised that £6.99 was going out of her barclaycard account and queried it. They say she signed up to the deal but my mum says she did'nt and would never put it on her barclaycard anyway. They claim to have her signature and would send a copy of the form. But after many week and calls it still hasn't turned up and they are still taking money dispite requests to stop.
Has anyone else had any experience like this?

Sent back in Nov and still haven't received vouchers. They said they had been sent and will resend and extended my 'free' trial. Hope this is not a con0

Have just received this offer through the post from Barclaycard (for £40 of vouchers this time) and after reading this thread I think I'm going to take them up on it. However, having a daft five minutes I chucked the pre paid envelope in the bin! Does anyone have the freepost address that the applications need to be sent to??0
