Steady up Soccerstar99, people may start to think you're on Zu's payroll!

  • Yes that’s the kind of one-dimensional reply I would expect from you.

From reading your ‘other posts’ on this subject, it would appear that you are not even a Zudirect customer, you just like to stir.

I have a positive experience to share about this retailer, Zudirect. So therefore by your logic, I must work for them?! Hmmmm This is despite all of the other posts from users on the other forums who have also received their psps?

Well by your logic, I would say that you are probably a competitor of Zudirect and are jumping at the chance the make the most of this delivery problem they have had by greatly STIRRING things up, when you have no real interests involved.

So, please since there are people still waiting on their psps, lets look at the positive side of things over this festive period, unless of course you have something to gain by continually interfering.

    Thank you

Im sure you have been given the chance to cancel you order and get a refund, Zu either deliver or refund and by far are not the worst etailer out there.

    Nuff said IMHO

If thats the case then maybe you can tell me why I'm still waiting for my refund for well over a month?

As for not being the worst retailer, It can't get much worst then not getting your goods, being made to wait for something which in my case never came, then getting told to wait for your refund, and when that time comes still not give you your money back after the date given. For me if there was an award for worst retail I would vote for zudirect.

They may well have had problems getting the psp's (Even large companys have problems)but if you condone a company that mess around giving a person back there money out spite (If you got you psp or not) then people are going to think your part of that company, it's human nature to protect your own.

I ask you this, if you brought a product from Argos, it didn't come in the time stated, they made you wait over two months with minimal contact on why you was waiting so long for what you ordered even if they took the money for it.
When you product did come would you still sing their praise over the net?

I'd just like to say that I'm not a competitor before thats what I get labeled I'm a real customer of zudirect that works for a national newspaper that is finding this more interesting by the minute.
  • Hi Edhead in relation to your post, my boyfriend and I were waiting on a PSP for my nephew, we cancelled when ZuDirect said they couldnt deliver in time due to the problem with customs, so we requested a full refund.

They told us that they were changing payment processors and there was a delay in refunding our card, this seemed a bit odd but then they asked us would we prefer a cheque, we told them 'just get our money back to us ASAP' That was about 3 weeks ago.................

Yesterday a cheque arrived from them in the post, with an apologetic letter explainig why they couldnt refund our card and it all seems to make sense.

I must admit like a lot of people here I jumped the gun and had them down as rougues, but after my experiece with them and after reading some other 'positive' comments on varoius forums on the net, it seems like this company has just been having some problems with delivery and the festive season will probably slow down the refund process as they are closed until Jan 8th.

If they have told you that a cheque has been posted, then it probably has been, in our case they were true to their word.

Your right this does sound a bit odd, if they can still collect payment on products they sell then there should be no problem sending it back the same way. In fact no matter what payment system you chose to use for you business when first using it you will have more trouble taking payments from people then giving it to them for obvious security reasons( I know I've been there). So saying they are changing payment systems now sounds a bit convenient but should not make a diffrence if the company is still trading. As I said if you can accept payment by cc then you can refund by the same source, if you can take the money straight away, you can refund straight away.

I understand what you are saying but if they sent out the refunds like they said they did way before their closing date then the monies would be with their payment system(nochex), and fact that they are closed until jan 8th should not make any difference as the have parted with the money already and then now becomes a nochex problem.

Can you tell us what the letter said.
  • after 3mnths of emailing bac and forth ive finally had this reply......
Your refund has been processed via our payments team and a cheque has been
despatched. Please allow 3-5 working days for your reimbursement cheque to
    arrive.
