Shopping has arrived and is now away. Veg peeled for dinner and also to make some veg soup. Managed that without injury then I've cut my finger on a piece of melon! Sitting here now with a piece of kitchen towel wrapped roubnd it as I put a plaster on it and it was covered in blood in about 10 secs.

DH has hoover the downstairs and the stairs so not doing too badly today.

  • OH and DS have gone shopping - due to OH not being able to carry much in the way of shopping on his way home due to his injury!

So ...... I have menu planned and made the shopping list accordingly. Everyone is happy with the meals as planned - gosh I sort of feel in control and quite positive about the coming week!

However ...I suspect I may have problems with my bridge...which as OH said 'sounds expensive!'

Am now ironing ....... but on a positive note the washing is finished!

I keep going out (we drove to the Lake District yesterday, had lunch and then drove back, friday I spent in car showrooms) and nothing is getting done *hyper-ventilates* OH wants to go out and play in my new car again this morning, the boys just want to play with lego and I need to clean and use up some of the egg mountain. On the positive side I sat in the car for 6 hours yesterday and I can still stand up, and I have driven an automatic for the first time.
I first drove an automatic about three years ago. And now love it, apart from the fact it is heavier on fuel than a manual gearbox.

Was there much snow in the Lakes? We have had a light covering every night now for about a week.

My January Challenge was to decorate DD2's bedroom and I've achieved that. For February the challenge will be to organise paperwork and ebay/ditch anything that needs to be decluttered. I've already made a small start and sorted out the file with all the car info in.
:j:j:j:j:j:j Yay! For completing your challenge for January.

Ouch, I hope it is not too serious and needing stitches.

We have dinner prepared and in the slow cooker. Elbows still not allowing me to do much but I have done lots of delegating.
