We managed to find a spa with availability so are heading there in a couple of hours. Unfortunately it is not a lounge in gowns one but they have a lovely lounge where we can natter between treatments. I will definately be able to cross that off when I get back.

We are doing really well with our wedding plans, I am quite excited as we have nearly got everyone booked :D

Morning all, Rhys has had a better night so hopefully he's on the mend. DS2 will be off today so he can give a hand if he feels up to it.

Need to get the kitchen bin emptied and put the black bin down. Then into doc's for my jab (i hate injections).

Pigpen thats so crap. We had a family at our church with 10 kids, the first 6 got christened and then the minister died and a new one came he told the family they weren't christian enough and refused to christen the last 4. Believe me that family where very christian. My own children aren't allowed to be christened but can have a blessing. I don't want a blessing i want them christened like me and hubby. I think it's so stupid, any church any religion should except children into there church.

    Kazw big hugs. :grouphug:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • morning all :)

so that's what the spider was doing in my house.. SPY'S!

I dont think I can actually open the door on the spare room all the way.
there's a patch of floor in front of the ironing board.... but that's it!

On the plus side there's no bed in there :)

    Friday ~ Childrens room/Spare room
    Level One
If you do nothing else off the list this week you MUST do this one.. Spend half an hour on YOU!! Have a loooong soak in the bath, get your hair or nails done.. whatever it is, this is your time! Hmmm might do trashy movie, with crochet and I've got galaxy milkshake in the fridge ;) see how we're doing :)
Declutter floor! there's a floor??? Right this will have to be amended to declutter what i can lift from the floor or DH will go Bonkers. Desperately need to get shot of some clothes. I cant fit them all in the house.

    Extras
    1. Tidy shelves :eek::eek::eek::eek: OMG the book cases!! the books are piled on the top, in piles in the side on top of the other books. Once I was gonna organise them into cook books, Merry and Anita books (Love LKH!) craft books and witchy books - we'll see :rotfl::rotfl:
    2. HHI
[STRIKE]Wash any smelly dressing up clothes/sticky teddies/dirty dollies
    Wash pet bedding!

Scuse me ignorance but why would the church refuse to baptise a baby??
We're Pagan in this house, so I dont understand churchy stuff at all. I understand the desire to get the kids umm I'll say dedicated? I cant understand why they wouldnt do it though?
(Mind you my uncle was not allowed to be buried in the church yard as the village suspected he was Gay - It bemuses me)

Assuming our munchkin makes it full term, we'll have a naming ceremony and munchkin will have to decide for themselves if they want to follow our path when they're older :)

ajmoney, have a great time. Even though you can't slop around in gowns and flip flops at least you can have some pampering!

shysarah, hope it goes well today, will be thinking of you.

pigpen, that's so pants - come here and our lovely minister (who is fab with kids) will happily baptise Freja!!

I'm feeling rough - headache, shivery, achey and so cold but need to drag myself upstairs to actually get dressed. For my 30 mins for myself I think I'm going back to bed (once I've got kids to school/pre-school of course - they're all ready). Finding it hard as DH is still ill so as much use to me as a chocolate teapot ..... all I need is rest. I've had some parrots so hopefully they'll kick in.
