Hi! It was only around 15-20min or so. They take all their measurements and that's it.

Thanks. Oh I was hoping it'd be a bit longer. By the sounds of things it seems like they have the new up to date machines that whizz thru the scan then xxx

    Hi Lisa

I had to take one but was told so in my letter, if yours doesn't mention it i'd assume you don't need one x

I didn't get a letter! My midwife just rang and told me when it was! i think I'll take one just to be sure, I'd rather do it at home than have to faff about doing it there!!!

I had to take a urine sample too, but at our hospital you have to go and see a midwife after the scan, and they do a full check-up each time.

Good luck lucy and floatylight on your scans! Congrats on V-day Tiny-tear :) Only a few more days for me until I'm at V-day too :D

I mananged to get a maternity coat on ebay for £16 :j Looking forward to being warm and comfy, though it's not too cold today at least, only really windy.

In-laws seem to stay up really late, I'm tired. Only one more night then I can go back to my 9pm bedtime! I fel bad because they're such lovely people, but right now I could quite happily hide under my desk at work and cry, I'm so exhausted. Going to bed early didn't help last night, as I could still hear everyone talking, and then there was lots of lights going on etc. It's not so bad for then - they were still in bed when I'd left for work this morning - though our cat did have a session of standing outside the bedrooms and yowling at 8am, so I'd be impressed if they managed to sleep through that :rotfl:
