I have worn a non underwired bra since I was 6 weeks as my boobs hurt so much. I have gone up 2 cup sizes. I also been wearing sleep bras since I was 10 weeks pregnant. Dread them drooping too much :s

I got a nursing/sleeping bra the other week that I sleep in, it's like a sports bra type thing, soo comfy :D It's just all my daytime bras that are underwired. I'm not planning on buying anything from Mothercare tomorrow, unless there's anything in the sale, as their stuff is expensive. I just want to know what size I need then will probably hit eBay!

If you join the baby and me club, the vouchers you get give you £5 off when you spend £30 on maternity lingerie. Loads of other stuff too and you should get the vouchers tomorrow if you sign up :)

    Morning All

    (((Hugs))) for Emsbet today x

Twigpig - well done on your shopping!

Am a non-underwire girl there are only rare occassions when underwires are called for ;)

I keep wondering if it is possible to convert a couple of my non wire bras into nursing ones, ie if the straps have a metal loop which the main bra connects to could this not be altered in some way, I find it so difficult to get bras to be comfy hence why I am thinking of butchering a couple of mine? Thinking loop with a popper, or something that ties up eg ribbon or am I mad :o?, the bras I would butcher are only £6 ones from sainsbo's so it does not matter what I do to them. The bras are all bigger sizes as I seem to have already done my expansion and there is 'room' for more in theses bras !!

My boobs went on a huge growth spurt from about 6 weeks, up until about 18 weeks, then settled down. I went up a back size AND from a D to a G cup! Argh! Thus requiring a whole new set of bras-all bought underwired. Now 28 weeks, and they are on the increase again i think but just the cup. Wierdly it seems my back size has dropped back down again!

Lucy, i would say have something to drink- clear liquids, but not as much as for the first scan, as with the bigger size of baby, its easier for them to see.

Awww poor you, I have been sleeping well, despite OH not being here.

I was told to drink a pint of water an hour before, same as 12 week scan. Good luck honey x

Thank you everyone for your kind words and thoughts.
We have had a very up and down day but I guess that's too be expected. I think we will be in limbo until Sunday when we can say goodbye properly.
We are very strong and together we will get through this.

    xx
