Flutterby - my 20week scan is the day before yoursLove is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -

Bluebell congrats on a boy xxx
I have a lucozade test at 28 weeks, I have been told to drink a 500ml bottle of lucozade 2hrs before bloodtest, I don't have high bmi or history of large babies, but am high risk on other things xxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Cant stop thinking about Emsbet either
Gilly - It was my consultant who decided that I should have a Glucose Tolerance Test and my BMI is very high so that will be why as I would potentially be more at risk. I dont think your BMI is very high at all but if you are thinking you maybe should have one then ask your midwife/gp I cant remember that you said you were under a consultant. It appears that it all depends on bmi and medical history.

My BMI is 32, which is really quite high, I don't think I "look" my weight if that makes sense, I guess I carry it ok. I have a consultant, but for a completely unrelated matter, didn't have one until my 20 week scan
I know I was in tears earlier when reading Emsbets post, My OH just doesn't understand, he was looking at me weird. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Bluebell - Congrats on a positive scan and yet another team blue!
I will definitely be saying a prayer on Sunday for Emsbet, partner and little one.DFD February 2012

Amended mine to 18th, no idea why I put 20th, I blame the bump personallyWhether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -
Can somebody add me to the list please.
My scan is on the 29th November and my due date is the 17th April.
I also have a high BMI and went to see the consultant. He told me it was merely a box ticking exercise and as long as I kept myself healthy and well there shouldnt be any problem.
