Emsbet Im so sorry. I dont have the words. Take care of yourself.xxxxLove is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -

We found out today that a friend of DH's is going through the same thing - their scan on Mon at 18 weeks also showed their baby's heart had stopped. I can't begin to imagine what you're going through, but sending lots of hugs for you and your OH.
After such sad news it feels a bit odd to be telling you all the results of my scan, but all was fine and they were able to complete it. He's been confirmed as a boy. The payment machine was broken so they gave us the photos for free this time, along with the 12 week ones too. They have now told me I'm rhesus negative so have to go back for an injection in a month or so, plus I'm booked in for GTT in 3 weeks time.
Congrats on team blue:T
Just back from Dr's to get an inhaler and asked about my low platelet count results. They've come back as normal:T Need the next result in 2 weeks to be the same, then if thats normal, then no more 2 weekly blood tests and I can have an epidural etc. So thats cheered me up slightly. Been thinking about Emsbet all afternoon thoxxx

My doctors haven't booked me in for a GTT, and I have all my appointments now up until my 28/30 week one. I feel I should probably have been invited for one... My BMI is just above what they say qualifies in my notes, but I don't tick any of the other boxes that GTT comes under. Do you think that means I won't get one?The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Why would you need one, I am clueless on it as although I have heard of it I have not had one or seen it mentioned.0

Flutterby Generally if your BMI is above an acceptable level, you've previously given birth to a baby above a specific weight (can't remember what that weight is now) and then in my notes it mentions people from African American backgrounds and middle eastern as they're more likely to get GD.
Phunkles Well that may be it, may just be area, my OH's mum is tiny, but she was only invited for the GTT for one of hers because he was measuring on the large side. I'm assuming if they find sugar in my urine or something they'd invite me. I'm not overly bothered about not going as I'm sick of being a pin cushion but just incase pops into my mind. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

In my case it's because my Dad has diabetes, which puts me at higher risk apparently.0 -
