Congrats on your team blue mouche! There does seem to be a lot of boys around at the moment!
Good luck Janninew, Kym, Gillyx and Twigpig for your scans this week.
I've been booked in for my re-scan so I thought I'd add myself back on the list again. :rotfl: The midwife said 7th Oct was the latest date they could do the scan, so I guess if baby doesn't get in the right place this time, there are no more chances. I bought some toffee crisp biscuit bars ready for the sugar rush needed for my re-scan to get baby dancing a bit, but have eaten half the pack already - don't think they'll last until the 7th! Though DH helped with that too, it wasn't just me.
In-laws arrive in less than 2 weeks, but we managed to get the final room plastered over the weekend, I can finally see the end of the decorating :j We're painting that room blue, so if they change their mind about our team blue at the next scan, baby will just have to put up with blue for a few years.0 -
Hi all
Congrats mouche!
Jannine - good luck for today!
Ro - are you doing cloth nappies then? We've used them with DD from the start and they are brilliant - another one addicted to clothnappytree classifieds and naturalmamas too.

Thanks all...I was a little disappointed he isn't a girl but that little kick somehow made him human and I'm happy he's coming now. He'll be exactly right for me.
twigpig...I'm travelling when I'm 27 weeks + 3 days and my airline allows pregnant passengers till 28 weeks without a medical cert and I think till 35 weeks with one. I'll get a cert from my doc anyway just in case the counter staff make a fuss. I'll get the next extra scan here but I'll have to get the next one in India.
Good luck Janninew, Kym, Gillyx and Twigpig for your scans this week.Mortgage (original/ current):193,000 (23/09/11)/ £102,500 (07/11/2019)

Good Afternoon Ladies,
How are you all?
I am home from the long awaited honeymoon and back at work (boo!) I've got hideous jet-lag, DH simply took a sleeping tablet and was away with the faries last night within minutes. I spent the whole night awake and I just know it will catchup and bite me late afternoon
I'm 17+2 today and weighed myself this morning. Still no weight gain since before the BFP, is this a good thing or should I be expecting to have put a little on by now? I'm getting tubby around the middle but no weight gain?
Also, can't feel anything yet - perhaps a little early? I keep trying to feel something and then wonder if I'm imagining it or if it's simply wind.
Talking of which, I'm trumping, belching and hiccuping for England at the momentthe burping and hiccups seems to be worst after eating. Oh and the boobs, they're mahoooosive!! Not that DH minds

I wouldn't worry too much Icey, I've put on 2 lbs since I found out and you can have a look at the pic of my bump a few pages back  I forget it's there half the time.
I didn't feel anything til about 19 weeks, I went straight into kicks though, so could be there was stretching and moving before that and I didn't feel it.
Hope you had a great honeymoonThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Hi Ladies,
Thanks for the well wishes! Just nipped home to get changed before my scan. Feeling excited to see baby again, but also a little nervous! Will post back later with news, though not the baby's sex as we are staying team yellow! Hubby wants to find out, but tough!! :rotfl::heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Ohhh just to add, a lady I work with had her first baby last night at 11.45pm. She was 9 days early. her labour was 23 hours and the baby was back to back - so a toughie! She sent pics this morning and my gosh he's a beautiful liitle boy, he looks like a little doll! Made me really want time to hurry up so I can have my baby - I'm soooo impatient!! :rotfl::heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Icey are you eating a lot more or not really? I am nearly 14 weeks and have only this week put weight on but think that is beacuse I was so scared waiting for my 12 week scan last week (due to previous mmc) that I could hardly eat, through worry but now I am eating like a pig! Is this your first? It is my 2nd. I can feel movement already.
jannine aww how cute. I too had a back to back labour of 3 days, was awful awful awful!0
