Hello
Thank you, i've tried that address and it isn't live anymore.
I am trying to claim back ppi and need to contact them about a closed account. I wasn't sure whether to try email hsbc as they are part of that group.
Kind regards0 -
Hello

Hi there
So you want to make a ppi reclaim then?
Personally if you can put it into writing a hard copy letter, you can of course send them a copy by email to complaints if you want to but this way your guaranteed they cannot ignore your complaint.
I would also make a reclaim with your reasons by completing the reclaiming questionnaire as shown as stage one of reclaiming on the link below (this replaced the template letter on this site), but you can write a letter in your own words instead of using the questionnaire, its optional either way, but it seems these questionnaires were suggested by the financial ombudman service (FOS) as also shown on the FOS website too.
Complete and sent to the HFC, if it was them that set this up and mis sold you the ppi, the address I know of is this one as below:
Central Complaints Team
Camden House West
The Parade
Birmingham
B1 2XJ
Tel details 0845 602 3793
Fax details 0845 214 4088
However, whether or not its still the same address I am not certain, but maybe in this case post by recorded for/signed delivery, you can keep a check on the status of delivery via Track and Trace (The Royal Mail website).
They normally have 8 weeks to give a decision, but may ask for more time.
Keep copies of all you send and receive, this is in case you need to go back to this again at some point.
Reclaiming questionnaire here:

And as this is the reclaim of charges thread, below is the link to the forums of PPI reclaiming, that is where I normally am, so please feel free to post on there for any help if required, good luck.

Sorry about the email addresses, hopefully whoever have had dealings with them will post them up to you soon.
I have come across the HFC website though and maybe it will be of some help to you.
