I am fairly sure that the problem with the botanics lotion not working is due to the packaging and not the 31p razors. Today in Leek it would only work with the new botanics packaging- pearly bottle and white band around the label. It was the SA that noticed as she couldn't understand why the 2nd lot wouldn't link-save. They have a different barcode!
I tried in newcastle under lyme on monday and it wouldn't go through- although i had 2 lots days before!! I am thinking that maybe i had taken the old style bottles to the till. When i got home i read that 'hilary1' managed the link-save in the same store on the same day.
I know it sound weird but i'm going to take new lotion & razors to 1 till and old lotion & razors to another till and see what happens. Whichever one works...if any....i'll go back and get a couple more.

    I'll let you know........xx
Great idea :T please, let us know

I'm confused  Is it online code or instore voucher? If it could be used instore, I'm interested

Anta, these were freely available instore (pile of them by the till in my local) but have probably been snapped up by now. Worth asking the cashiers if they've got any left that aren't on display.

They were a A5 leaflet with 3 separate vouchers of 10% off everything, the last voucher of which is valid 29 Nov - 5 Dec.

    Happy hunting!

Thanks Dave, but no luck at my local Boots :(

If someone has spare vouchers for 29/11-5/12, please share with me  Of course, I would send SAE ;)

    Hi

They are selling 10% vouchers on ebay for 99p + 31p postage.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10-off-at-Boots-instore-or-online_W0QQitemZ320051664937QQihZ011QQcategoryZ123805QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I bought a couple of these for the last Christmas shopping night and saved £18, so it was worth it.
I looked but didn't see any in my local Boots so this was the best option.

I can get 20% off my shopping until end of dec at chelmer village store chelmsford plus the triple points this weekend and combnie this with equal amounts of buy3 pay for only 2 to maximise the savings
  • The 10% vouchers do say not to be used on boots shopping evenings though. Should have tried mine spent over %100 last week. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be too honest. Doh!
  • I had a real tussle in Boots yesterday with regards to the 200 points on the professional haircare while trying to use it with the 32p conditioner.

Tried 3 different cards and only got offered it on one, so got max of 4 vouchers from that.

Went to till along with other goods and the Sa was so nasty!

She put through 1 of them and and then went off to see a manager as she noticed the points going on.

Manager came and said they would allow one of them this time as the points had already gone on my card but no more were allowed as she said they could send off the voucher but the store wouldn't be credited for the sale as I wasn't buying any of the professional brands. (I am confused!)

    I felt like a thief!

I went to a different Boots later on in the day and managed to get three more bottles at 32p at the Clinique counter and she couldn't have been nicer, saying what a good deal it was!

You would think it was coming out of their own pockets
Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!
    Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945
    Smoke free days = 11 Years :T
Cash saved so far = £125,45,11
  • It really annoys me, time and time again Boots do these offers and don't put conditions on them or progrmme the tills to stop the points/freebies being available with the cheapest items. This means we sometimes end up feeling as if we are robbing them.

They only have themselves to blame and if Head Office were so worried about it they could easily have done something to stop it by now! Surely they can't all be that stupid to not notice...or could they... ;)
  • Boots are currently doing a promotion of 500 extra points on 2 purchases of Benefit cosmetics etc. It's also triple points this week online, and you can use a 10% discount code too. I bought 4 items yesterday and received over £18 back in points, plus £6.95 discount!

Don't know when the 500 points extra runs out so get on there quick.

The discount code for 10% off I got from another post which unfortunately I can't find. I'm sure it started BFTF then 2 digits, possibly 27, hopefully if you search the forums long enough you'll find it.

The cold relief freebie pack does work with the value cold relief sachets priced at 89p for 5. But the Boots own sachets and tablets are better value (if you need them) at 99p for 10 sachets and 16 tablets. It is printed on the freebie pack dispenser that it is not valid with Tunes, Halls or Lockets (basically the single pack lozenges).

Also just got myself a No17 mascara (£4.75) with free sheer eyecream (worth £3.79) from the ACM and spent another £2.49 on a nail varnish to take it over £5 for the free gift box.
  • The razor/Bonatic Glow worked for me on Sunday but not last night. Will have to return the full priced ones now.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .
