Does anyone know how the up to half price of certain toys and the 3 for 2 works? and do you also get triple points and 10% off with the code?0

I'm an old-fashioned instore boy!
To my knowledge, all the online 10% off codes require a minimum spend though (please someone say if that's now changed!).This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

silly question..... but i have a double points coupon voucher that i had in a boots mailing, which can be used twice....
has anyone tried using these types of coupons on a triple point weekend ? and what was the outcome..? did you get more than triple points, or did it just over-ride the voucher ?.. hope that made sense....
thanks... would appreciate any advice on this.. before i go to boots....This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yes you do get 10% and triple points, you have to order the items that are 3 for 2 and show upto half price not all toys are included. If you add to the basket it will show how much each one is, best to get the same value for all three .Hope this helps.0 -

Can I just repeat - check any bonus points very carefully.
Last triple points weekend when I used my double points coupon, I got 87 normal points plus 100 offer points (the latter on a Boots dental spend from a machine voucher).
I'd spent £24.97 - normally worth 99 points.
My double points award was 99 whilst triple was 175 (i.e. not 98)
I queried this with the SA, who explained that the double coupon had worked from the actual spend (i.e. £24.97) but the triple spend calculated from the 87 points awarded for the transaction. She argued that the 100 offer points was instead of the 12 points I would have got for the £3 spent on the tooth sticks. Nothing I could say would persuade her otherwise (can't remember whether the voucher said '100 points' or '100 extra points' - there is a difference).
So, presumably, double and triple points are calculated differently? Or is it the difference between a coupon and a nationwide offer? :rolleyes:0 -
