Hi - I checked in my local store for the barbie perfume and as far as I could see it was not half price instore (could just be in others)- I would buy it online instead.

Hi I was in Boots GLASGOW yesterday and tried the basic razors from the mens section with the botanics lotion and the link did not work . I asked the sa to remove it as "I must have picked up the wrong razors.
I noticed on the board recently that some of you were getting 300 points for vitamin pills. Can I ask where the voucher for the 300 points came from anyone thanks shrewdal

AC machine gave me NOTHING free for the last few weeks.
Also today went looking for the winter/flu survival kits. Because I had the heads up from reading this thread, I eventually spotted a poster advertising it, but no stock.
Asked sa who knew nothing about it, and asked at Pharmacy till who said they hadn't received any stock yet !
A bit of a wasted day all-in-all.

I did manage to get the free botanics witht the 31p razors, at the w/end but they seemed to be hiding the stock of cheaper items the offer WOULD work with, so not surprised they have actually now re-set their tills so it won't work at all with these cheap razors.
They cannot blame us all for trying to find the loop-holes and find the cheapest items to trigger the deals.;)

Saw the free No17 gift sets ( with purchases over £5) - annoyed because I had a voucher for half priced No17 mascara, but it had expired !!:eek: I will have to double check the magazine coupons and try another card in another ac machine.

I know it is off the 'Boots' topic, but has anyone bought perfumes etc from ebay ? Some of the prices seem very reasonable, but although they all claim to be 100% authentic products, how would I know ? You read such horror stories in the papers about fake goods. Wouldn't like to give something as a present and then find out it wasn't the real thing :rolleyes:

I got a bottle of Angel off ebay and the seller listed them as refillable, i got sent a non-refillable. Was still a lot cheaper and was genuine.

I would stick to waiting for Boots to do special offers, unless you are prepared to take a gamble. Always, always check feedback very carefully though. Its so easy to forget.

I am fairly sure that the problem with the botanics lotion not working is due to the packaging and not the 31p razors. Today in Leek it would only work with the new botanics packaging- pearly bottle and white band around the label. It was the SA that noticed as she couldn't understand why the 2nd lot wouldn't link-save. They have a different barcode!
I tried in newcastle under lyme on monday and it wouldn't go through- although i had 2 lots days before!! I am thinking that maybe i had taken the old style bottles to the till. When i got home i read that 'hilary1' managed the link-save in the same store on the same day.
I know it sound weird but i'm going to take new lotion & razors to 1 till and old lotion & razors to another till and see what happens. Whichever one works...if any....i'll go back and get a couple more.

Boots ACM's have triple points on Oral B something or other vouchers. I wonder if these would work in conjunction with the triple points offer this weekend. I.e. triple points on the product, then triple points on normal points for purchase.
