eek:eek: I have been waiting since the 27th of October for them to deliver my dishwasher  They have twice missed the delivery date, delivered one that had 2 huge bashes on the front and now I am waiting patiently to see if the one scheduled for delivery this coming Thursday will actually arrive!! no bets please! :o

I have been refunded my £19.99 delivery, given £30 good will gesture, had a free up-grade AND send the biggest bouquet by interflora... all lovely and it has softened the blow but at the end of the day I still don't have my aplliance and they have had my money since I placed the order.

I'm sorry to say i wouldnt reccomend them to anyone...

Read my whole experience on the VENT board .

Hope yours arrives ok though !!
odered a fridge, told it would take 2 weeks but to ensure i got it they would take money. was then ignored, for 4 weeks and cancelled. Still waiting for refund:mad:

  • hi I know it is not a boots bargin but make sure you check you receipt to see if your normal points have gone on when using extra point vouchers. don't know if it is just the shop i'm going to but on my last 2 visits the extra points went on but not the normal points for the amount spent so had to get sa to put them on manually
  • Hi,

Not sure if this has been posted already but from 22nd Nov to 6th Dec Boots are giving a free winter survival kit (including advice leaflet and tissues) plus Benylin Chesty Coughs sachets, when you buy any cough or cold medicine in Boots stores.

Only one kit and sachets per transactions whilst stocks last.

Newcastle-u-Lyme Boots - botanics is on the shelf straight infront of the door and it says 'free with hair removal' and it still goes through with Boots basic razors, so got 3.

This worked in the Edinburgh Princes Street shop on Sunday. A friend dared me to try as he's heard so many of my Boots bargain stories and wanted to see me in action. The looks on his face and the lad serving were wonderful! :rotfl:

Wonder if this will work with the cheapo paracetamol?? I'm guessing there will be some money off vouchers in there too (going on what they usually put in these packs)

Thanks for letting us know about this one ... I'll keep an eye out for it.

Yes - this also happened to me, but I couldn't persuade the SA to add back the basic points (even though the voucher I used said get 50 extra points).

Strange thing is - the double points offer doubled all points (including the ones I should have had but didn't) but the triple points offer on the same purchase only tripled the extra points!
  • Went into Boots on Sunday looking for the razors to get my free botanics tanning lotion. Couldnt find any of the cheapo 31p ones - but got the silkymit and it didnt go through free! got sensitive razors but I think it may have been mens razors and thats why they didnt work. When I looked at my receipt it had charged me for the silkymit and one bottle of the tanning lotion which was going through buy one get one free! work that one out lol. There is also a sign saying 3 for 2 on botanics so I havent a clue what is going on!
I complained to the SA who went and checked with the manager who said it was hair removal products only, ie creams. I said well it should be more specific~! and ended up getting a free bottle of tanning lotion with the silkymit but had to put the other one back with the razors! The SA had also removed the sign saying free lotion from the shelf when I went to check what the label actually said! the cheek of it. I feel like ringing CS and complaining!! ;-)
    oooooooh i luv a bargain :)
  • So shaving your legs isn't removing the hair?
Wonder where it goes then! ;)
