I was given a slip with my receipt today.

Said if I ring this number O8OO..... you could win £1000 or if I went to the Boots website I could have 10 go's at winning £1000 !

The girl said you have to say what you think of the staff atttitude and general impression of the store!

They were all charming today.. I wonder why?
  • I feel really lucky to have the staff at my Boots - they really are lovely and are happy when I get a fab Bargain! However, I do have a conversation all ready in my head should things go pear shaped and that is "Can you please put all my items through the till and then argue with it - not me! If you are refusing to serve me then please call your supervisor"! I hope I never have to use it but I certainly will do if an individual SA thinks they can override the whole of the Boots company policy!

I do hope that you go back and try again. Why should you lose out? Good luck and let us know what happens! x

Good for you!! I like it!! :T
(I did kind of the same today to ensure I got my 100 points with the Botanics deal, didnt have to be quite so blunt but if I hadnt spoken up I would have lost out!!)
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D

Does anyone know if the face serums would go through as they are on the shelf with the sign directly underneath them and they are £8-99 each, asked a lady in boots today and she said they are not a moisturser even though they are next to moistursers and have the sign saying free moisturser. If they are not a moisturser what are they as they are for the face.

Any info would be much appreciated.

nettsey I tried the face serum at £8.99 with the free offer and it didn't work.

Good for you too! I hope I never have to use my little few words, but I will do should the need arise! I hope that this thread has given people the courage to speak out and receive the offer thats on offer! After all, its Boots that bring out the deals in the first place! ;) x

courage.im like a witch when it comes to my points or my boots customer service i can be polite but if i feel the Sa are looking down at me or showing me attitude i remind them that the customer is always right-sometimes i put my mystery shopper act on aswell to scare them a little more.A call to customer service always helps but i also praise and thank properly if i feel an SA is doing her job properly.

The final total that you paid had to be £5 or more. Then you got the voucher.

(I was wondering if you added the price of the free one into your total and then it came under £5 as it was free, (if you know what I mean!).
