I popped into my local today and got a wee gift set half price to £2.50 and got 100 points. Thought this was a nice little gift for £1.50. do you think these will be reduced even further on Monday(possibly)?"The journey of 1000 miles commenced with a single step"0

Thanks to the OP of the Botanics offer. Went in today, and through a combination of the Botanics offer and splitting my shopping up into £5 batches to maximise the £5/£3 vouchers I got, I ended up with £91 worth of goods for £40 :j
Even better than that I paid for £32 of that with vouchers, so thanks very much!0 -
mhoc wrote:I know now where I think I am going wrong. We have the ludicrous situation that our Boots is split into two different shops either side of the road. One side of the road has the Boots shop with botanics for bodies (ie soap and body butter), the other side of the road has facial Botanics ie no soap but some moisturisers.
And you are not allowed to cross the road with your Boots shopping basket to do the rest of your shop in the other Boots :rotfl:

So I guess I'd first need to turn my Boots voucher into a Boots giftcard, so the balance would stay on it when I made a purchase of less than £10. But would I be able to use a Boots giftcard with the AC to collect points and get deals in this way?
Remember the Pepsi Max advert anyone? So many glitches, so little time...0 -

and 900 points if you do it 6 times by spending £5.94- ive got a bad feeling about this i think i better find a hairdresser for a husband.
I only got 100points coupons from the AC machine for Trevor Sorbie. Will look again tomorrow incase I missed the 150 coupon.0 -
YvonneCrossland wrote:Snobby SA in Boots today wouldn't let me have ANY offers :-( She said you have to spend £5 on Botanics to get a free mostuirser (Where does it say this?) also wouldn't let me get my top-up woth the points from AC. Took me over a week to find the Botanics items anyway so I'm not happy, will have to try again tomorrow.
I feel really lucky to have the staff at my Boots - they really are lovely and are happy when I get a fab Bargain! However, I do have a conversation all ready in my head should things go pear shaped and that is "Can you please put all my items through the till and then argue with it - not me! If you are refusing to serve me then please call your supervisor"! I hope I never have to use it but I certainly will do if an individual SA thinks they can override the whole of the Boots company policy!
I do hope that you go back and try again. Why should you lose out? Good luck and let us know what happens! x0 -

In reply to Supernoodle, ref your atrocious treatment by the SA in your local Boots - I had a bad experience on Saturday, my botanics items would not go thru on linksave, even though they were the same ones I had bought the day before - SA tried to tell me different policy in different stores, body butter was not a moisturiser, etc etc. Eventually got it sorted only to get home and find my 100 points coupon from Boots mag had not been credited. Decided to follow advice I had read before on this forum and phoned Customer Services - they were totally charming and helpful, said any bad experience in store email them right away, they do follow it up - and they gave me 600 points for the grief! I recommend contacting them.0
