At least with a feather topper you can give it a good shape to even out the feathers again.0

With feather toppers you would get what you pay for. You would have to pay quite a bit to get one with enough feathers to be any good.
I'm sure the Netto ones feel great if you had an uncomfortable mattress. However don't expect them to perform as you would expect a decent memory foam topper to.0

I just bought one of these for the spare bed for when hubby comes home from hospital and it's fabulous, I did a test drive in it. The mattress was much too firm before as it's an orthopaedic one, it's much snugglier with this on.

Is your hubby going to be bed bound when he comes uot of hospital? The reason I ask is because memory foam moulds to your body to provide even support and eliminates pressure points. 2.5cm isn't enough to do this, you really need 5cm (2"). Also it doesn't make the mattress softer, it will just lessen the pressure points.
If you haven't already bout this topper then you might be better off with either a reflex foam topper (although they can be hot), or one of those teddy bear toppers from Dunelm, if he is bed bound.0

Thanks Tim, I've heard of these but only just thought to look at them.
 They do look snuggly.
I have already bought the memory foam one but I think I'll pick one of these up for our king size bed and he can choose which he prefers to sleep with.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Ordered a ZoneSleep topper last week and it turned up first thing yesterday. I chose it over a memory foam topper because of the widely reported comments about the temperature of them - it may or may not have been an issue for me but I decided not to risk it. Also, the guarantee for the ZoneSleep meant I was happy to risk a new (and expensive!) product..
Anyway, not an in-depth review yet but after one night things are certainly encouraging - normally wake up with my lower back aching but much improved this morning. Ok, it could be coincidence or the placebo effect so judgement will be reserved until I've used it for a decent length of time.
So far, so good though.. :T0
