Tesco - Anyone else less than impressed?

My local Tesco is rather pants. Its not a major store but enough to enable you to do a large shop. Some days meat/ veg/fruit/flowers is scarce. Buying nappies & Formula was a nightmare when I needed them a couple of yrs ago. They don't sell clothes so I have to drive 13 miles to the Extra one. They desperately need a bigger store but local council is totally against it.....they don't see its an exention on the store they have as they're offered to build affordable homes on the old site.......great bait!
So I pop about once a month to the extra store. Also shop in Morrisons & Asda will be taking the awful Netto store over this year:j so I can go there too (I :heart2: Asda!)!!
don't worry you're not missing anything with the clothing!!
popped in yesterday and the sale section in clothing said final clearance clothing all 75% or under , what a con, eg a kiddies outfit 14pounds reduced to 11 pounds ? figure that-i couldn't see anything reduced to even 50% let alone 75%
admittedly i didn't take to the till to double check and am open to correction but from past experience i didn't expect it to be any cheaper so didn't botherGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

I used to live in an area with all the big supermarkets nearby. Now I live in a town with only a Tesco, Lidl and a Co-op. I like to do my main shop in a large SM but I find Tesco rubbish - the fruit and veg never last very long and the selection on other stuff isn't always great. I am trying a new money saving regime in Feb an am going to start doing either a weekly or fortnightly shop at asda (20 mins away) then picking up any extras in Lidl. If I dont go to Tesco in the whole month I will be a happy girlie!!Sarah's Saving Challange: Target/Actual
