Been in my new job for 4 months. Only 2 more months, I could wait. Or I could take a risk and apply, since being in a job for a short time doesn't matter that much, like you.

1 month into your new job and got a credit card? - maybe you have demonstrated paying back money, like a mobile phone contract.

It was a while ago but come to think of it I had had a Littlewoods account for a couple of months. Certainly had a Three contract. Still got the same one over six years on!

Looks like your Littlewoods account conduct and mobile phone contract is taken into account when being successful in having your first credit card.

I have none of those. I only have an overdraft which I used twice since being a customer with the bank. That's it! I hope it won't be hard for me to get an Initial.

Also, I could wait for 12 months in my job then apply, but it's too long. So decided to apply for one during my 6th month of employment.
