How long have you been working? My husband has lost his job today because of his 'attendance' (sick days) but because of his length of service & the fact he's not leaving voluntarily he gets paid notice & will get some compensation. Would this apply to you?
hi
i have only been in this job for almost 2 years so i dont think that would apply to me but thanks an good luck x0 -

You can only claim ESA when your entitlement to SSP ends.Gone ... or have I?0 -
You say your employer will never be able to make certain adaptions because of cost - have they told you this or are you speculating?
i supose im speculating
but i know that what they have allready proposed will notwork
i did tell them this but they say to try it out, to which they are right, they did a workplace assesment with out me being there so are going of what my colleuges said, when i questioned this they told me that what they are actually doing is for the benifit of us all which it is but there is one thing that will be a masive issue and i dont see a way arround it at all, not to mention a few others they have not addressed but can maybe be resolved
hope that made sence x0 -

At present you are not entitled to anything more. However if you receive DLA you may get a small amount of IS, depending on the rate you are awarded and your daughter's situation.
Did you submit evidence with your form?Gone ... or have I?0 -

my daughters is now in the hands of a welfare rights worker who says she is entitled
with mine i filled it in an sent it i know the doctor has had something as i went there today
tommorrow im going to an osteopath arranged by work im hoping to get a copy of his report to send to dla
thats all i have really i did not know what else to send as i presumed the doctor would be written to an he would confirm what i had said about my mobility an care i recieve from feb last yr
i have a feeling tho that they will not give me anything because i still chose to work (more for my sanity and to show my DD that disabilities do not always mean youcan not)
thanks0 -

Your ability to work will only affect your DLA claim if it contradicts what you say you cannot do. Once you get your award, post again and we can check if you are entitled to any extra.Gone ... or have I?0 -
