  • Just to let those of you that are worried about the lack of confirmation email know. I ordered at about 2.20 pm on the 20th and in my order history it still says to be confirmed. My order arrived this morning with just one item out of stock.

Hopefully the rest of you will get your orders soon too.

If he likes dinosaurs then get him one of these dino cutter
It will make them fit in the box and I bet he eats a couple of dinosaurs no problem.
My DS wolfs sarnies down when I cut them with this

    I've ordered that too :D ...

I got one of these for my DS in the pound shop and the heart shaped one for DD.

...and the heart one, gutted that we don't have any pound shops here!

Let's just hope it comes now, it's showing as 'awaiting comfirmation' in my account.

  • Just to thank everyone who has given updates on orders, esp rosalie- lavender - I was a Lakeland virgin and was so delighted to find this thread :) I ordered everything I would need for my grandchildren's Night before Christmas hampers for this coming Christmas - and have not only saved a fortune, but been able to include much better quality goods than I might have been able to afford. Thank you again! Love your tag line quote from margaret Mead, building with lego!

Many thanks for the info on confirmation emails :) That gives me hope that mine will come through OK! BTW, for those of you who had items cancelled, did you use the free delivery code, and did Lakeland still honour it if the order total dropped to less than £19.99?

I used the code but my order was still over the £20 without the missing item. I have, though in the past had orders that have dropped below the amount needed for free delivery/free gift and I have never been charged delivery or refused a free gift because of it. In the unlikely event you get charged delivery, I would email or phone and the likelihood is they would refund it. Lakeland's customer service is excellent.

I just rang lakeland as had no confirmation email, but had a screen print of my order. Most of the items had been cancelled, but they are delivering £5 worth of goods with free delivery. Apparently there is a problem with there system as it should not have allowed me to order out of stock items. So if you are still awaiting confirmation it may be that some of your order has been cancelled.

Thanks RL, my order actually arrived just after I last posted, although it's still not been confirmed, so like people said it must just be a glitch at their end. 5 of my 11 items were cancelled, but I still got free delivery on £13.45 total, so am v. pleased with that. Not too gutted about the cancelled items, though would have liked the chocolate chess sets, which are OOS.

I ordered one of the digital piggybanks Haycorns, it looks great!

  • Just received my order via Hermes. Thrilled to bits. One item out of stock. £5 voucher off £25 spend in the box which is very nice of them. My order online didnt show despatched at all. Free delivery given despite one item out of stock taking it to £19.48.

If I remember correctly I have read in the past that Lakelands stock system is not very good and a lot of people have been left disappointed with cancelled orders?
I ordered on 20th but as yet my order history states 'awaiting confirmation'. It would be nice to receive all that I ordered but after reading the above posts I will not hold my breath, does not seem that one person has received a full order?
