I bought some stuff in the sale when it started on previous thread and would just like to add :

    1) Classic wheels belgian chocolate bar - BBE 05/2012 very good value I paid £3.99 each
    2) Racing car money box very good quality and the wheels go round too.
    3) Dino sandwich box - rubbish - read the reviews, they are spot on. Will break easily.

Damn, I've bought one for DS, in the hope that he'll actually eat some sarnies rather than dissect and reject.

I do now have both my parents' birthdays sorted and will look VERY generous, even though the actual cost is very low :D

If he likes dinosaurs then get him one of these dino cutter
It will make them fit in the box and I bet he eats a couple of dinosaurs no problem.
My DS wolfs sarnies down when I cut them with this

Has everyone got their order confirmations through? I ordered a load of stuff yesterday and I haven't had the confirmation email yet, and on my account the status is "awaiting confirmation". Has anyone had this before? Is this just Lakeland being a little slow (understandable, they're probably really busy with the sale on) or does that indicate they're going to cancel the order?

I haven't had a confirmation email either and did think it was odd as they are usually very quick.

I put an order through yesterday afternoon and didn't get an order confirmation. I phoned up to query it because the confirmations usually come quite quickly. Apparently they are having some problems with the confirmations. She checked for me and my order has gone through all right so hopefully you are ok too. I get exactly the same as you if I log into my account.

I have never had an order cancelled from Lakeland but sometimes I don't get the full order if something has gone out of stock.
  • I've just rung up - most of mine out of stock, including the dashboard clock which was the main thing I wanted. I think that's why confirmations not sent. Only three out of my eight items available, so I've cancelled my whole order.

Feel good I've saved a bit - definitely overspent this week, anyway!
