Some of us disagree with abortion and find the idea of putting a child up for adoption too much to take too. Her boyfriend may only just have walked out and even if she was pro-abortion she's legally over the limit anyway.
At the moment, this lady needs benefit advice, nothing else. Once she gets back on her feet she can think about contributing to society once again.0 -
By the way OP, if your friend is really going to struggle, it's worth contacting LIFE too. They're a pro-life charity who can offer support/items to mothers who are likely to struggle to cope when continuing with a pregnancy. http://www.lifecharity.org.uk/financial-help0

OP - get your friend to contact Job Centre Plus tomorrow and ask to speak to a lone parent adviser who will be able to advise her just what she will be entitled to claim and how to go about it.
