Leaking Aygo

yeah the water leaking is very common with the aygo (not the 107 or c1 mind)I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Ours started leaking after about a year of ownership - water wasn't draining from the bottom of the rear passenger door so it was pooling in the seal and wicking along the carpet. One visit to dealer, new door seals and additional gutters above the doors and it has been watertight for the last three years.
Open the door and lift the seal, see if there is water in there. BTW they should replace the carpet too.
What is disappointing is this has been a problem since the Aygo was launched - after a year or so most car companies change the design of the component which is causing the problem0 -

also all the facelift versions have the larger 'yaris' clutch so you will not likely be needing a new clutch at 20,000 miles (also if you get a clutch replacement on an older version they give you the yaris clutch so it won't need replacing as soon again)
other than that all 3 versions are pretty good cars, people can complin all they want that they arn't as good as a veyron but that's missing the point entirely.
Sorry you are wrong. The C1 did have the leaking problem. I know the later models didn't suffer the same but the early models did.
My daughter has an 06 C1 and if she parks so the passenger side is higher than the driver side (ie she parks the 'wrong' side of the road so the camber is a problem)she gets quite a puddle in the passenger footwell.
It went back several times to the dealer, but of course they could never replicate the problem
I know if you use silicon grease on the rubber seals it helps.0 -
Might be worth checking under the boot carpet for any water, it has been know for water to get under tailgate seal at the top, run round the inside of the seal and deposit water at the bottom of the seal into the boot. This can somtimes run to the rear passenger footwell.0
