Hey,
Pernicious: Re the contract. A friend works in mobile phone type things and he said that eventually they will get rid of the term 'unlimited' in their deals. Its happened already and 'fair usage' it now used a fair bit with regards to text. o2 unlimited texts is 10k I think. I work hard but I only ever get close to 2k a month.... mmm texting :-p
Today I will:
do nothing and feel sorry for myself as I think I've got a tummy bug so money saved on snacks/ food at work etc. No cans of coke.
I even brought in my own ribena so I can have it hot to make me feel better.
Hope everyone is keeping well.
Danni
Well my average use isn't all that much to be honest:-
60mins calls
500ish texts
It's just if I go down the shiny new phone route I WILL use more data than I currently do, which is where my current contract gets expensive...the salesman was trying to tell me my usage wasn't that much so I don't need it, but having doublechecked my bills again I can use about £9 a month just on data
Thanks for the tip though, I knew about the fair usage bit but didn't realise they were going to get rid of unlimited deals.
Hope you feel better soon.:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Hiya
I love this thread. Focus on the small stuff.
The only small mse thing I have done today is drive past McDonalds at lunchtime and therefore did not buy a coffee which would have set me back well over a quid. I had a free cup of tea in work instead
I had already eaten my lunch from goodies I had when I spent £2.18 in Lidls when stocking up on chilli flavoured snackerjacks and go ahead apple and sultana biccies. Trouble is I ate all four packs of snackerjacks  but they're low calorie anyway so I'm not going to stress about it.
Want to do better tomorrow.
Thank you lovely peeps for your stories. They inspire me.0 -
Hello Peeps
Well the good news is the Laptop was able to be fixed :j and only cost me £50 which is much better than the £350 min I thought I was going to have to spend.
Earnt another £40 on my second job today and used that to put petrol in my car and get dog food.
Used my Mr T £10 voucher from valued opionions to get some shopping so that now means that I need to transfer £10 from account to Debs card in return.
Will get paid from my third job today so that will be great, will bank that cheque tomorrow.
Not much other DFW stuff done today as need to catch up on work I missed yesterday, so tomorrow is going to be a long day. Going to make sunday my DFW day to catch up on my challenges etc.MAY NSD's

Feel better after telling my boyfriend that I have joined here and openly have had to admit my debt (well most of it)

I hate it when that happens, especially at the last minute so I can't slot anyone else into that lesson instead..... am now thinking about the fact that I need petrol and veg from the market tomorrow, and have a Mr T shop booked for monday, and probably not enough money in the bank to cover it all
. I was doing so well this month and with only a week until payday I don't want to start using ccs. Save £12k in 2021: Jan £1834.40, Feb £1692.810 -

How much do you pay currently? I'm still on payg as I cant find a better deal. I'm on an ok phone, but its not a smart phone. I have 460.2mb left this month (2nd feb) and 10920 texts. and I know I've sent more than 80 so not even sure where the limit is! I pay £15 a month for it on o2. I cant actually fault them.
but by g0d do I want to get my grubby little paws on a smart phone.....[STRIKE]£2200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£1950[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1850[/STRIKE] £1600 on my credit card
