What is it?

FOXY Lady Drivers a new paid-for scheme for female motorists, promising motoring advice, special offers and preferential rates at garages. This is a new, and as yet unproven scheme, so I wanted some MoneySavers to trial it for free first.

If it's paid for, how come it's a freebie?

As the founder is a MoneySaver, I persuaded the Foxy Lady Drivers club to give me a substantial number of free memberships for MoneySavers - which is great as it would usually cost £30 a year plus £5 joining fee. This is a total freebie, ie no need to sign up and cancel like other trials.

How to get a free membership?

While there is a substantial number on offer (many 100s) it is still on a first come first serve basis. Thus so everyone gets a fair crack at the freebie; not just those who receive the weekly e-mail first (the weekly email now goes to over 700,000 people and takes a day to send out).

So set your alarms and come back then; the memberships are likely to run out very quickly. And please don't just purely grab the freebie. If you’re not interested in the driving club, please leave memberships for those MoneySavers who'll enjoy it.

Thank you, this sounds great as i plan to buy my 18 and 20yr old daughters a provisional license and some lessons to get them started for xmas. They both plan to start Uni in September and hopefully will both have transport by then. I hope there's some nice offers for new drivers

Hi I understand your note. To be honest I can't win on this though. If it's in the evening then all the people who can only access from work can't get it either. More people access the site during the day than in the evening, which is why I picked a daytime. I didn't want the free subscriptions to run out before the e-mail finished sending, as its truly unfair. I hope this system works as well as possible - perhaps a friend can sign you up?

To be honest it is hard to find a way. People will lose out. I suppose if it was the weekend that the link was put on all those working weekends would lose out. I am working but I will try and sign up. Good luck everyone.

To be truly fair I think it should have been a Thurs (as I don't work that day) After the school run (9am) but before the Tescos run(10am) and preferably about 9.30 ish as then I have time to make a cup of tea and phone my mom, just for future reference Martin! LOL!!!

I shall ask hubby to sign up for me, good luck everyone!
