Meal Plans WB 24 January

 Tuesday: Garlic chicken & potatoes
 Wednesday: Pasta, sauce & garlic bread
 Thursday: Spicy turkey cakes & salad
 Friday: Spaghetti bolognase
 Saturday: HM chicken curry, rice & naan
 Sunday: Omelette & salad
 Breakfast will be fruit smoothie for me, cereal/toast for OH.
 Lunches will be HM soup & rolls.

            Last week's plan didn't go too well, was ill for a few days and couldn't face what I had planned. But hoping to get back on track this week...
 Sunday: [STRIKE]Roast chicken[/STRIKE] Southern fried chicken (want to save the roast for next week - may have family round)
 Monday: Pasta
 Tuesday: Kedgeree (from this week's plan)
 Wednesday: Soup night (HM lentil)
 Thursday: Chilli con carne (vegetarian)
 Friday: Pay day takeaway (our local has huge portions, we split one so it works out quite cheap)
 Saturday: Chorizo stew0

 B: girls had porridge and dried fruit, I just had a pear - lie in! ( ) )
 L: Out - hummus in wholemeal and fruit pieces
 Girls T: "Chicken" nuggets in finger rolls with courgette sticks and raisins. Wild Blueberry Swedish Glace for afters.
 Late Veg stir fry with rice + Thai vegetable crackers Veg stir fry with rice + Thai vegetable crackers
 Sun
 B: similar to yesterday (how lucky am I? ) )
 L: Nut cutlets, roast potatoes, veg + gravy. Followed by hm toffee cake + oatly cream Wholemeal baps + hummus. Satsumas. Wholemeal baps + hummus. Satsumas.
 Midweek Breakfasts:
 Branflakes or oats, a banana and OJ/coffee
 Banana smoothie (with oats)
 Hm fruit muffins, piece of fresh fruit, and OJ/coffee
 Cornmeal porridge with fruit with OJ/coffee
 Beans on wholemeal toast with OJ/coffee
 Midweek Lunches:
 Girls and OH: sandwiches with "chicken" slices, garlic and herb tofutti, hummus, hm walnut and olive spread, or jam/hm scones/soup. Fruit.
 Mine... similar but on rye crispbreads with salads or just in a salad/soup
 Midweek Dinners:
 Mixed beans and couscous
 Pizza with veggies + Tofutti mozzarella, and hm coleslaw
 Chick pea and spinach curry with rice
 Jacket potato with baked beans, mushrooms and greens
 Veggie fingers with chips, mushy peas, salt and vinegar
 Snacks will be fruit, nuts, carrot, popcorn or crackers. Puds can be the same, or any hm baking (there is some toffee cake leftover and might make cookies at some point.) There are also a couple of cherry soya yoghurts or the girls. I just bought some Wild Blueberry Swedish Glace too but that will be kept for Saturdays I think :cool:
 Suppers can be oats, B+B or rich tea biscuit with chocolate soy milk for girls. Either cup of tea/rice milk + pear for me (toast for hubby), or glass of wine and olives + carrot sticks + nuts depending on how we feel

            Big thankyous to everyone who posts. As time goes on I'm hoping to steal some of your yummy ideas to add a little more variety to my newly developing plans :-)
 Saturday - DD and I LO macaroni cheese. DH Indian take away.
 Sunday – DD and I roast chicken, DH home made veggie cottage pie.
 Monday – DD and I fried rice with mushroom and LO chicken, DH reduced price cheese and onion quiche,
 Tuesday – Home made cauliflower cheese
 Wednesday – DD and I chicken pie with LO chicken. DH scampi.
 Thursday – Home made ratatouille, with cheese, over baked potato
 Friday – Home made fish pie, carrots, peas
 Saturday – At friends
 Sunday – At friends
 Breakfast will be porridge, cereal or toast
 Lunch will be soup, a sandwich or something on toast
 Snacks will be fruitNothing in it, nothing in it but a ribbon round it .....0

            Here is my plan for this week for myself and my 8-year old DD:
 Monday: Chicken curry, saag aloo, rice
 Tuesday: Cheese toasties (big lunch at work)
 Wednesday: Potato waffles, beef burger, corn/tomato salsa
 Thursday: Out
 Friday: HM Pizza
 Saturday: HM pasta bolognese
 Sunday: Rice, lentils, tuna
