  • Last week's plan didn't go too well, was ill for a few days and couldn't face what I had planned. But hoping to get back on track this week...

Sunday: [STRIKE]Roast chicken[/STRIKE] Southern fried chicken (want to save the roast for next week - may have family round)

Tuesday: Kedgeree (from this week's plan)
    Wednesday: Soup night (HM lentil)

Friday: Pay day takeaway (our local has huge portions, we split one so it works out quite cheap)

Hello all :) Thanks for starting the thread Nottoobadyet

    Sat
B: girls had porridge and dried fruit, I just had a pear - lie in! ( :D )
L: Out - hummus in wholemeal and fruit pieces
Girls T: "Chicken" nuggets in finger rolls with courgette sticks and raisins. Wild Blueberry Swedish Glace for afters.
Late D: Veg stir fry with rice + Thai vegetable crackers

    Sun
B: similar to yesterday (how lucky am I? :p)
L: Nut cutlets, roast potatoes, veg + gravy. Followed by hm toffee cake + oatly cream
D: Wholemeal baps + hummus. Satsumas.

    Midweek Breakfasts:
Branflakes or oats, a banana and OJ/coffee
    Banana smoothie (with oats)
Hm fruit muffins, piece of fresh fruit, and OJ/coffee
Cornmeal porridge with fruit with OJ/coffee
Beans on wholemeal toast with OJ/coffee

    Midweek Lunches:
Girls and OH: sandwiches with "chicken" slices, garlic and herb tofutti, hummus, hm walnut and olive spread, or jam/hm scones/soup. Fruit.
Mine... similar but on rye crispbreads with salads or just in a salad/soup

    Midweek Dinners:
    Mixed beans and couscous
Pizza with veggies + Tofutti mozzarella, and hm coleslaw
Chick pea and spinach curry with rice
Jacket potato with baked beans, mushrooms and greens
Veggie fingers with chips, mushy peas, salt and vinegar

Snacks will be fruit, nuts, carrot, popcorn or crackers. Puds can be the same, or any hm baking (there is some toffee cake leftover and might make cookies at some point.) There are also a couple of cherry soya yoghurts or the girls. I just bought some Wild Blueberry Swedish Glace too but that will be kept for Saturdays I think

Suppers can be oats, B+B or rich tea biscuit with chocolate soy milk for girls. Either cup of tea/rice milk + pear for me (toast for hubby), or glass of wine and olives + carrot sticks + nuts depending on how we feel ;)

Have a good week everyone :)
Love and compassion to all x
