For us on a total spend for the week of £67.36 (including toiletries etc etc) our plan which is 95% home made is:
Friday - Walnut, Raisin and parsley Spaghetti with ciabatta bread and dipping oils
Saturday - Lamb Shanks, mint gravy, Parsnip and potato mash, roasted celeriac & sweet potato, mint jelly, redcurrant jelly.
Sunday - Roast Turkey, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, carrots, peas, white cabbage, cauliflower cheese, apple and cranberry sauce, gravy.
Monday - Warm up from Sunday Roast.
Tuesday - Corned Beef Hash with Poached egg and green beans.
Wednesday - Beef and carrot in Ale casserole, mash sweet potato and peas
Thursday - Sweet Potato Skins (from wed) with cheese and Bacon with Salad
2 Deserts for this week - Sticky Toffee Pudding and Bread & Butter Pudding

Another week gone already :eek:
Mmm corned beef hash :beer: slides off to reshuffle
So my third week at this & it's going well, only had a couple of changes but these were due to illness & people not eating so no extra spends
Sun - Toad in the hole, carrots, swede, cabbage & roasties.
Mon - Corned beef hash, poached egg & green beans
Tues - Sausage casserole a la new slowcooker (ty to grabbit board)
Weds - HM megaburgers, fries & HM coleslaw. (bigjaxx:rotfl:)
Thurs - Liver, bacon & onions, with mash & spinach & mixed veg.
Fri - HM cauliflower cheese soup/ hm minestrone & cherry pie (ys)
Sat - Friend coming to stay so fakeaway night, hm donner kebabs, wedges & coleslaw.Sometimes not moving backwards is as much an achievement as moving forwards is on other times. (originally posted by kidcat)

Monday - homemade beef burger with coleslaw and potato wedges
Tuesday - quesadilla with caramelised red onion, cheese and whatever else I want to add
Wednesday - chicken laksa
Thursday - sausage and stuffing meatballs in tomato sauce with pasta/spaghetti
Friday - [STRIKE]TBC - not sure what i'm doing yet[/STRIKE] had pepperoni pizza with chips and coleslaw
Saturday - chicken nachos
Sunday - [STRIKE]chilli pasta bake[/STRIKE] had a roast dinner at my dad's for lunch, so just had Super Noodles tonightGrocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

4th week of meal planning, and so far seem to be doing ok with it. DD returned unexpectedly on Fri night from uni with her b/f and instead of panicking, turned my HM chicken curry for 3, into chicken, potato & veg curry for 5. Was delish :j
So for next week:
Mon: Chicken Risotto
Tues: LO Potato Skins & Salad
Weds: Fish/Fish Fingers, HM Wedges & Peas
Thurs: Pork Chops, Boulangere Potatoes, Carrots & Grean Beans
Fri: Baked Potatoes w Cheese & Beans or Tuna & Salad
Sat: Lasagne, HM Wedges & Salad

Well this is our first week back on the horse so to speak... with no pennies until payday on the 31st!
Sunday: free range roast chicken (courtesy of my mum) parsnips from my grandfathers allotment, roast potatoes, carrot and swede mash and curly kale
Monday: if enough LO chicken will do chicken bacon leek bake with rice and green beans, if not, freezer raid for leftover bolognese!
Tuesday:Lamb stew, dumplings and rest of kale
Wednesday: Out at choir so Pizza in freezer for DH, snack for me
Thursday: Sausages with caramelised onion sauce, carrot and swede mash and peas
Friday: white fish bake in the bag from freezer, mashed potatoes and brocolli
Saturday: beef stew in slow cooker, rice and whatever veg is left.
Breakfasts will be cereal, fruit yoghurt toast
Lunches: homemade leek and potato soup, pastrami/tuna/cheese sarnies and fruit/yoghurt

Monday - pasta with chicken & red pesto
Tuesday - bolognese
Wednesday - quiche & jacket potato
Thursday - out with vouchers OH got for his bday!
Friday - burgers & cajun wedges
All hm except the pasta and pesto. Breakfasts are hm yoghurt, mine with fruit, OH's with weetabix. Lunch for me will be hm soup and bread roll, OH will have sandwiches. Snacks/puddings will be hm lemon cake and shortbread.0
