Topcashback seems like a total waste of time

Yes TCB waste of time, over the year I haven't wasted £400+ on buying odd thing or two and changing insurance
I have had a few things not track but its all sorted by raising a ticket
I too have had problems with National Lottery though despite tracking its says 0 payment
I tend to use separate browser for online shopping via tcb0 -
Been using TCB for well over a year now and not really had any problems only two items that never tracked but were easily sorted by raising a ticket...0

Topcashback for me everytime, I stopped using Quidco after two Vodafone contracts failed to track(a lot of money) no resolution after a lot of communication with them.0

My experience is the other way, everything tracks for Topcashback, nothing for quidco.
Same for me too, in fact I just got £90 from TCB for an order I didn't even complete!
I tend to avoid Quidco, I was getting lots pf transactions stating that another party had been paid. Never got an answer when I asked who.0 -
sorry I meant over the years
I didnt say I avoid TCB, I implied I saved over £400 by using them rather than not thats why I said I use a different browserNonGeographicalMan wrote: »Is that £400 of Cashback you are saying you earned in the year and if so who did you use to earn cashback with given that you apparently avoid TopCashBack?0 -
Cheers for all the advice and the benefit of your experiences.
It appears to be a mixture of good and bad, although most people seem quite happy.
Understandably, the most lucrative cashback seems to be from the bigger purchases, so I can only assume those who are bagging 1000s in cashback have spent whopping sums. It's only a coincidence that I've bought two mobile phones online in the last few months. I certainly don't feel it would be worth paying to join a cashback site based on my experience so far.

18 months?! I won't give up hope quite yet then...0 -
You dont pay to join tcb unlike quidco, and deals are every bit as good. I stop using quidco years ago after faffing about paying up for a transaction0

I stopped using Quidco (unless they have an exclusive on something as they do with Admiral Insurance) as if I earned £10 cashback in a quarter and £5 of that disappeared in their annual fee that would not have been charged by TopCashBack it would annoy me.
And I stopped using GreasyPalm before that as their cashback rates were much lower as they kept a large amount of the cashback for themselves.0
