I would agree that nobody would want it sticking out 150mm.
I think the lining up of a hole like that would not be easy for an inexperienced person, and whether one would want the vent so low would depend on where that puts it on the outside of the house. If it was too near the ground it could get easily damaged, especially as the OP indicated that this was the front corner of the house.
The installation you did......was that the normal flexible hosing you used? And how did you get enough room for the compressed length of the hose?
Or did you use some type of rigid telescopic tube?0 -
what would be a typical length of a TD lead as my socket is about 3 meters away. Thanks0

If there is a dishwasher in the space at the moment, does it not plug in nearby?
Cables these days are about 1.5 to 2.0 metres.0 -
Think dishwasher has had a new lead put on and I don't think an extension lead would be good due to the high currents.
Will have to see if I can get a longer lead myself I think and fit it.
I think I would probably have 9cm of space at the back of the TD. Would that be enough?0
