Fifer - yes, goto www.TVcables.co.uk and you can get them at reasonable prices. Mine is L shaped at both ends, which is a bit awkward to plug in at the other end sometimes...0

tbh you'd do well to plan to move up to HDMI on the DVD player (even with a cheap £25 one) sooner rahter than later too, the jump in image quality is very noticable.
Don't go buying any overpriced HDMI cabels tho, you can get perfectly good ones for around/under £5 (even ones aliEnRIK approves of)0 -
The HDMI cables at Poundland work just as well as the £25 ones.0

Save2spend, £15 sounds good. I have a Sky+ box at the moment and was thinking of getting an HD box (also for the HDMI output) but don't want to pay the monthly sub. Did you have to subscribe monthly to get the box for £15 ?0

But the OP's box was not new from what I can gather. He posted that he has subsequently opted to upgrade to an HD+ box.All new Sky+ boxes are HD boxes these days - they don't supply non HD versions any more, even if you don't take out a HD subscription. There's love in this world for everyone.
