I'm not going to put any web links up or anything cos I know how strict you are on here

Yet you have put your domain link in your personal profile in the hope to attract people.

Wikaniko has its own thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2515671 and i suggest folks read it before joining.

  • Ive done kleeneze too.
This is going back a few years so they might have changed it.

Outlay is £25 per 50 catalogues and to get anywhere you really need between 200 and 500.

Worked hard and only made a about £50 over 2 months.

The system Kleeneze use for brochure dropping does work, it worked for us 4 years or so ago and we are using the system again with our new Company. I think people are missold this type of Business and not told that you need to find your customers and create a good customer base and provide excellent customer service to make a useful second income. I see it as a way to be your own boss without all the usual set up and hassle of a conventional Business. If you are prepared to invest the first 6 months or less if you have more time into finding customers and reinvesting your profits initially in brochures to keep your numbers up you can build a good customer base and then it gets a lot easier because your brochures are going to people who you know want to see them and it becomes a lot more time effective and rewarding.
We work with brochures because its not weather dependent as my hubby main work is and it is flexible and we love the products and want to share them in our local area.

People who join these type of Businesses are not employees of the Company they are independent Business owners. If people join and see themselves as an employee then in my opinion they aren't going to have the correct mindset and perhaps not put the persistent effort in required and usually because they haven't had to invest that much to start up compared to a conventional Business they don't have the commitment.
Its about finding your customers, not pestering friends and family if they aren't interested but using other methods and learning those methods to find those that are interested and brochures through doors is just one way to do that. Its also a great way to learn the Business skills necessary to be successful while building your Business, learn while you are actually building a Business.

With the economy as it is i believe looking at running a Business from home around your existing commitments makes a lot more sense than looking for a second job which are few and far between anyway.

    Excellent point Debbie.:D
  • Kleeneze isn't a business it'sa franchise , 9 out of 10 people give up out of pocket. Take it from me it's far more hassle than it's worth and certainly not for anyone who hasn't got lots of spare income to keep paying kleeneze on the off chance that during thwir time with them they might mnake it luicky and get back what they've paud out.

Most people end up well out of pocket. You'll see *income cheques* but they are before ANY costs are taken out. I did this for 11 months did everything they asked and got utterly nowhere.

    Steer well clear
