I signed up to npower through topcashback this morning. The website states:
"Please note, this cashback is provided by Top CashBack, not npower. If you have any queries with regards to your cashback please direct them to Top CashBack, not npower directly."
"npower is not responsible for the payment of any cash-back sum advertised by Top CashBack. You should check Top CashBack terms and conditions for the details and timings of its cash-back payments."
Should any complaints not be directed at topcashback? Sorry if I'm wrong.
I've got nothing but praise for topcashback so far so I'm hoping that my claim is processed as advertised (like everyone else, it is showing as tracking ok).
I have 10 days to cancel...has anyone at all been paid this cashback that anyone knows of?

My Npower via Topcashback was declined. I had done everything by the book, cleared cookies but still declined. I am not sure who I trust the least, Npower or Topcashback.:mad:0

I've checked with the team which deals with these associate sites and they have informed me that they are taking a very serious view about these problems and as such, are currently carrying out a full investigation into these tracking isses.

This is just TCBs way of saying "don't hassle N-Power" - the money comes from N-Power and likewise the refusal to pay blaming tracking issues or whatever comes from N-Power.
The problem is, by the time you realise you aren't going to get the cashback, the gas/electric service is up and running and you are tied in for 12 months.BE NICE - IT'S FREE!0 -
Thanks for that Sally, its nice to see that something proactive is being done by Npower regarding all these very unhappy people who`s decision to switch to you was influenced by an offer of cashback like this. I believe then if you fail to keep to the deal then I would say it comes over as an unfair and deceptive practice, and therefore could be challenged under consumer law.

I've reached the end of the road with my Quidco cashback queries and support, they tell me there's nothing more they can do. I smell a rat and have decided to write to an NPower director so I wondered if anyone else was having the same problem.
Have you been refused Cashback from Quidco for NPower? Have they been mysteriously unable give you any details about where the commission actually went? Post here!
I have had exactly the same problem with Quidco and Npower - cashback refused twice 'paid to anothe site' I have not been to another site and just use firefox for my quidco - My friend swapped her supplier the same day and exactly the same response - most odd0
