Quidco cashback

Options
Hi all

I've just posted this in the grabbit forum but will put it here as well just so people don't miss it

The text below is lifted straight from the Quidco blog

Home and car insurance cashbacks have been exploding here at Quidco and if you haven’t taken advantage of this yet (and it’s time for your renewal) get on it! You can get a policy for up to a month in advance so if you are due for renewal in the next month you can start checking out your options now.
The most spectacular jump has to be Barclays Home Insurance which is now up to a record £125 per policy taken out. That’s the largest home insurance cashback we have seen yet.
The Barclays rate just squeeks by Lloyds who have raised both Car Insurance and Home Insurance to £120 Quidco cashback. We have had tracking problems with Lloyds in the past but this has been cleared up in the last few months and they are now tracking very well.
Zurich Home and Car Insurance is aiming to get in the game with aggressive policy pricing and by raising their Quidco cashback rate to £80. A big plus on Zurich is their fantastic tracking record especially when we compare to Barclays and Lloyds. Also they have one of the fastest cashback payout speeds to Quidco members with a one month average.
Lastly, we should give notice to Prudential Insurance who haven’t upped their rate but at a steady £100 cashback and super-competitive quotes have been very popular with Quidco members over the last few months. Again a big plus here is their almost perfect tracking record and reasonably quick payment speed.
So when it comes time to renew your home or car insurance don’t forget to check out what Quidco merchants are offering as it very well could make it the cheapest insurance you’ve ever had!

  • Think i'm being a bit dense so sorry, my car insurance is due to expire mid december, so will start looking around shortly. When I went to the Quidco site, couldn't see any high paying cashback for car insurance, only for home insurance.
can anyone help me? many thanks Michelle:beer:
If it seems too good to be true, it probably is, unless its from this forum!

Prudential is £100 cashback via Quidco. Pays out quite quickly based on my own experience. :)

The AA paid me £60 cashback on car insurance - but I'm not sure if this is still the going rate as this was back in August.

I wouldn't touch Lloyds TSB. If it doesn't track you are in for a long long wait.

If I should go through Quidco for one of the insurance deals, how long should I wait if it does not get tracked by Quidco before putting in an enquiry.

Lloyds TSB are hands down the cheapest through their quote, but i'm hearing bad things like the post above, so how long should I wait if it does not track?

    I think its 14 days.

On another note, Direct Line seems to be awful when it comes to tracking aswell.. I have claimed 2-3 missing trackings with DL and are still waiting, 5-6 months later.

Basically dont go for the insurance unless its the cheapest quote you can get.. The cashback is a bonus and it not garanteed.

I've taken out content insurance with Lloyds and it has tracked within a day. My buildings insurance with Barclays isn't tracking as yet though. :o
