If you're selling your own stuff on eBay I don't think u need to declare - it's only if you're trading for profit. tax returns need to be done annually for money earned like Vivatic and yes I declare everything. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Yes and I've just completed the SSI Web sourcing 2011 survey (85p !!!!!) and at the actual submission page got the message that they couldn't accept my submission because I'd either already done it (I hadn't) or someone else on my computer had (they haven't).
So don't bother with this survey - it says 16 minutes and when it loaded up the first page said it would be 25 minutes! Anyway it was very long and all about virus checkers for your computer. Nearly half an hour for 85p (before tax) is bad enough, but to do the work for nothing is really annoying. If I really had done that survey already then they could have surely seen that from my first responses.
I have mailed them and complained- but no joy as they say they can't tell who's done what survey if you haven't managed to submit.
A lesson learned, but I suspect they know we're all out here scrabbling around for pennies so they don't care - they know most of us will put up with it!0 -

I have to defend them here. I got an email from them today, and here is a quote from it
"SSI have indeed been experiencing issues and we are fixing users balances at the moment."
I'll let you know if they fix my balance, or not.0 -

Mrs Money, is that the message that comes up with a row of national flags across the top, with a yellow background, with the blurb about already done it/someone else on your computer etc etc? I've seen a message like that lots of times on various survey sites, when I've been sure I haven't done the survey in question, and no-one else does surveys on my computer. I know how you feel, it's so annoying.0 -
I too have taken multiple S.S.I surveys and not been credited for any of them, i did email them yesterday and to be fair they replied within a day, i've copied their response below.
Thanks for your email.
I have looked into this and notice you have been completing surveys through our other partners fine.
We have also checked the data stored in SSI’s system and unfortunately there is no record of any of your completions.
Please see below the usual issues that arise.
There are a numerous issues that may influence you not seeing a credit when you feel one is owed:
1. You tried to complete the same survey more than once or someone else in your household has.
2. You have completed more than 4 surveys per partner per day. Due to previous issues with fraud we have had to limit this number.
3. You completed a survey without first visiting our page http://www.vivatic.com/surveys and clicking on the links. Please ensure you do this and do not bookmark the survey partners page
4. You have been screened out of the survey at the end and not noticed the survey partner’s message. During busy periods you can be screened out of surveys right at the end. Although it may appear you have completed it the message might not always be clear enough.
5. The survey may have crashed and therefore the survey partner will not have informed us of the completion.
6. The survey partner maybe experiencing issues with their reporting.
7. You are using another website to visit our partner and the survey partner is having trouble reporting back because of this. Please only use Vivatic for the partner you are having trouble with.
8. You or your browser are blocking cookies for this site which is causing reporting issues.
In all these instances we are unable to credit you for the completion.
If you still feel you have not been credited for survey completions due please email us:
1. The date and time you completed the survey.
2. The url of the confirmation page (often found in your browser history).
We can then investigate further.
I've been taking surveys for years and know how they work, none of those reasons apply and i'm just completing surveys for nothing so there must be some sort of bug in their system in regards to these surveys as i'm not the only person having this issue, anyway i replied back telling them that but dont expect another reply, i'm just not going to bother with the S.S.I surveys any longer!
Well to my surprise and very much their credit i received an email from them today, basically said that there were issues (despite them telling me otherwise) and they were now sorted out, therefore they had credited me for 8 surveys.
Fair play to them i think :beer:0 -
