Hey guys,

I'm thinking of switching to BE and I just wanted to know if anyone has had any problems with them? Are they reliable? How's the service and customer support etc?

TIA

Excellent as far as I am concerned. They have a great forum where problems are often solved pretty damn quick.
  • Also their Customer Service centre in Bulgaria is excellent too. Their English is very good and they are always helpful. Been with BE for 3 years now and have not regretted one moment. They are UNLIMITED and although they have a FUP we haven't heard of anyone falling fowl of it. If they are on your exchange then give them a go. You'll never look back.

Been with Be for over 4 years now, no problems at all - highly recommended.
  • Been with Be for about 3 years now, my parents switched the month after me. We haven't had any problems at all, I'm very happy with the service! :)

I reluctantly called them after experiencing a weird local network issue, which I knew wasn't their fault and expected them to have no idea what the problem was.

After going through a few things that I'd already checked... the guy mentioned a bug in Windows 7 when using DHCP. To my amazement, he was absolutely spot on and setting a static IP for that PC fixed the issue. It saved me hours of irritation and troubleshooting.

I also liked the fact that he didn't patronise me. With Tiscali, they very tediously instructed me to press keys one at a time ignoring my requests to explain what they wanted me to do. Be asked me simple questions like, "what's the local IP of that machine" and "what's the DHCP pool", etc. I'm sure they would have been happy to elaborate, through, if I had needed more guidance.
