We have a appointment with the bank today going to set up joint account wherby i cant draw without his consent and he cant draw without mine therfore he wont give his money away.thanks for all the coments.my father is exellent health at 76 he still builds stone walls and various other building works but mam did all the accounting and i let him get with it for the last three years but was shocked when i saw how mutch he had spent.0

Your wrong i dont like wasting money,i know he worked hard for his money my mother was the saver i would like to think he used the money carefully . The advice i need is if anyone has transfered thier parents house over to themselves and advice would be helpfull.or would it be better just to have my nameput on the deeds.?0

That's good news.
You'll have seen that there's been a lot of conjecture about yours & your Dad's situation, most of this came about because you didn't really explain what the problem was in your first (or even subsequent) posts.
If you do need advice again, it might be better to sit down and think what you need to say to get the full point across so that people can start helping you straight away instead of attributing (quite understandably, imho) less than altruistic reasons behind your actions.0
