Hi everyone, I orginally joined this challenge not to spend on the CC and completely failed at it! Well thing have changed, I have BT all my CC's together and have "lost" the card and pin no so therfore have not spent a penny on it. :j

But I have a weakness for cosmetics! I have about 10 bottles of Body Lotion and products that I'll never use again but have form other uses for it. I would like to rejoin and reduce the backlog of cosmetics, I like the idea of putting in a £1 for a treat, dont what treat tho.....:)

Ok this is a thank you post:T:T:T

I've not joined in the challenges in the past, but I have been following the principle and so the toiletries and cosmetics have decreased dramatically with goody bags going to friends to help reduce the stash too. So thanks for starting the idea off.

The MSE grabbit & freebies board was one of the causes of the stash :o I have learnt my lesson :D I buy less but things that are just right - Ok I still normally look for discount days etc still, but that's just common sense moneywise.

I'm currently trying to reduce to a minimalist subset of toiletries and cosmetics long term as myself and family have sensitive skin, so sticking to a smaller number of safe products is normally the best way. Admittedly with some things switching between OKish things that are OK for a while works too.

Anyway, thanks for the ideas, hope your challenges go well :)

I checked my stash today and looks like I will run out of moisturiser this year for the first time in ages and maybe face oil. Ok still have a load of cleanser and toner. Soon the face mask stash will be gone and exfoilator - will have taken the best part of 3 years to get to this stage!

Only things will need is shower gel and body lotion so the challenge is working well and space is creating again!

Good luck everyone and keep going!

.... used up the last of some-sort-of-expensive-hair-product I got talked into buying - which has been lurking for at least 4 years!

Won't get talked into it again (sounds like one of my fave Who songs!) cos have given up going to the hairdressers !!

another £1 in the pot, takes me to £4 :D
