used up the last of my Shoddy Bot shower/bath gel - hated the smell anyway so am glad it's gone.

chucked out an empty 'Stynx' showergel bottle which DS has had lurking for no particular reason

so £2 in the pot already - excellent!

I'm in again too, same as before, no toiletries unless I need them - used up a tea-tree stick this morning so going to put £1 in a pot too.

Clothes, I did buy some stuff - as declared on the Crazy Clothes Challenge but nothing compared to my usual.

Can I join in too please? Loooong time lurker on the boards but really need a bit of a kick start with everything money saving so this challenge would be perfect!

I've just moved in with my boyfriend and his horrified expression at the amount of toiletries, make up and cleaning stuff said it all! So I'm going to try and not buy any toiletries, make up or cleaning products for 100 days and also not to use CC.

Welcome cloudatlas - I know how you feel about this as my BF used to look the same at the bathroom stuffed full of products then the wardrobe shelves and so on - since starting these challenges I have got it back to a normal level with one drawer containing spares instead of it spilling out everywhere.

Good luck! Please let us know how you get on - plus the £1 in a pot is very good too, each time a product is used up - I have £28 now - which equals 28 items used up in just over 100 days!

Thanks all! I was a bit mortified by BF's reaction, really brought it home. I tried to tell him that at least we wouldn't have to anything on toiletries or cleaning products for at least 6 months but I'm not sure that helped:p
Love the £1 in the pot idea, will definitely be doing that (but mustn't then go and buy more smellies!)

Oh dear, £4 in the pot already - used up 2 shower gels, a bubble bath and a shampoo. Obviously this is a good thing really but made me feel like a bit of an idiot when I see loads of half full bottles of stuff and then full bottles of things that clearly never needed to be bought in the first place!
Oh well, at least I'm doing something about it now;)

That's the same as me cloud! It's good seeing the treat pot stack up and work towards a total to treat yourself

Yes defintely, fedup! I so wish I had been on the boards instead of lurking all these years, I think it would have been a great help!

Me again, sorry I feel like I am clogging up this thread! 2 more things used up: 1 Weleda Birch body scrub which I actually really liked and one random facial scrub which I used a tiny bit of 2 years ago and it made my skin itch really badly so never used again...in the bin at last!

£2 to add to the pot for me.
