HD brows - anyone had it?

Well, I'm really happy with them! It was, imo, definitely worth the £30 for me. I did buy the eyebrow pallete aswell, it was £19.95. She sold me the kit for dark brows, but now I'm thinking maybe I should have got the lighter one??? When I was there I did mention that I had previously thought of eyebrow tattoos, she said she was qualified to do it and that I would benefit from it as the shape was good but the sparseness was not (it is £295 though, so I suppose for her it is a good idea ) Seriously, I would consider it in the future, but I am very happy with the results I have now. Now I did take before and after pics but not sure how to put them on here?!????The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.0

after the threading decided to tint my lashes and eyebrows myself. never done it before but got a kit from boots and did it this morning. i'm really pleased with the results on my eyebrows. lashes aren't quite as good- seems hard to catch the thinner ends - but maybe i'll manage better with practice. doing it myself has saved me about 10 to 15 quid a time and the kit has about 12 applications in it so a bargain. recommend having a go to anyone its very easy.
oh have also invested in some lash serum for about a tenner so going to give that a go aswell.Frump to Fab - Solstice Sizzler

I get mine threaded and tinted for about £11 on the high street in one of those little pop up shops. I do any necessary filling in or extending with powder myself when I do my make up.
A couple of my friends have been HD'd for about £40 a pop and to me it's like the choice between buying a handbag you like, or buying an almost identical handbag with a designer name and paying four times the price for it.
It's better branding and marketing, not a better service.0 -
I always wonder why threading AND waxing? Does anybody know? Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0

Wax is great for getting the basic shape but not so good for the very "fine tuning".
My beautician uses wax and then just adjusts the shape using tweezers to get the perfect line.0 -
I Have read through this whole thread Including the one from salon geek, but it talks a lot about people who's brows are already thin and sparse, what about If u already have a nice shape and a natural arch, if that's the case would there be any difference after the hd treatment?0

I don't think there would be a need for hd treatment if you already have good brows, dd has text book perfect brows and just has them shaped about every six weeks with threading, nothing else needed:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -

I had HD brows done last week for the first time after usually just tinting and waxing them and I was very impressed.
They leave the tint on for 20mins for extra staying power and effect and they wax to get rid of the worst of the hair then they thread to get the sharp defined shape.
I thought about it for a while before having them done and the £20 they cost was well worth it.
They are not miracle workers and you do need to commit to them for at least 6 months I reckon depending on the damage you have done with over plucking.
Everyone noticed the difference in my eyebrows (even friends I hadnt told I was having them done noticed).
Basically they help you to work towards getting the perfect shape and educate you on how to use makeup and pencils to maintaine the shape but providing your eyebrows can recover from over plucking and grow eventually you will be able to revert to wax and tint again as your eyebrows will have the effect you want without filling them in.
I admit £20/£30 + does seem expensive but I see it as a temp payout until I get the desired effect.
Hope this helps, I really would urge you to try it at least once before deciding if its any good you will be suprised how a trained HD professional can transform the look of your eyebrows in 20mins!0
