I think it depends on what her interests are ie is she into music, art, books, fashion etc?
An easy gift would be a little box set or bath bomb from lush and a box of chocs
  • As parent of 17 and 13 year old girls, No to flowers, stuff from Claire's, Britney Spears perfume or Superdrug. Yes to Lush, New Look or jewellery labelled Top Shop or River Island!
  • There is a craze round here for girls of that age to wear Boots Natural Collection body spray, they smell quite nice and are £2ish.
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

    one life, live it!
  • Another vote for the Boots body spray. The vanilla one is the smell du jour round here.

The teenage girlies I know would also be happy with some Gosh or Models Own makeup or nail polish. Soap and Glory is a good bet. So! Perfumes and body sprays, a make up set with an eyeliner and a good mascara in it, Some Fearne Cotton make up in the sale in Boots?

A box of jellybabies and a £10 New Look card? (Ok that one's for me! ;))

Definately not flowers - my 14 yr old would die of embarassment if a boy gave her flowers :o

Minty's ideas are good - topshop, river island and new look are all popular. :T I'd probably steer away from make-up unless you definately know what colours/brands she likes. Perfume can be dodgy too (I know I've received several that I hate the smell of on me) but body sprays are pretty safe if its a good brand like impulse.

And Ladygoogoo definately has the right idea with the jellybabies :) My girls love to receive a fun item too that they can pass round and share with their mates, so if she loves smarties or maltesers for example include some of them in the gift.

£10 gift voucher is a bit high though - unless she's a special girl in his life?!

Teenage girls all seem to be into that special effects nail varnish by Barry M at the moment. DSD has it in black (bought for her by DSS's ultra-hip 18 year old g/f) and you paint it over another colour and then it kind of 'cracks' and look like leopard print. They sell it in superdrug but it's flying off the shelves at the moment.

    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10
  • I'd say a lush gift, or soap and glory.

I wouldn't give flowers, it's not really something a teenage girl would appreciate really!
  • Lush would be my best bet - they've got some lovely gift sets in the £5-10 region.
