Birthday present for 14 year old girl

Thanks - will pass all the suggestions on and see what he wants to do.
It doesn't help that I don't know the girl as it's someone he's got to know through secondary school. Questions I've asked to try and find out more about her have been answered with a very helpful "errrr dunno"!Here I go again on my own....0 -
Can I suggest you err on the side of caution with Claires Vouchers or stuff from Claires unless you know the girl and what she is like - My DD and my older Nieces (all 13 - 16) won't go to Claires as they say it is a 'tweens' shop.
So if it's a girl he's trying to impress he doesn't want to send out a signal that he thinks she's a kid
Lush gift boxes are always a good bet

Any Brittany Spears perfume is the latest trend with teens.Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0

I vote for lush (if they are just friends) or flowers (if he really likes her

When my daughter was that age she'd have loved Lush, Body Shop, or a grown up looking gift set from Boots.
Voucher for a manicure possibly ( about £10) or vouchers for somewhere like Primark, Top Shop,New Look, Hmv?
Not sure about the flowers, a teenage boy may feel awkward giving them, as they can be seen as a token of affection!

Ahh, I mis-read the original post. The flowers also aren't a good idea, the 'banter' he'll receive from his fellow lad mates is not worth the 'nice thought'. My little brother had the same situation, and sent me with £10 of his money to get the girl something. I ended up getting her a nice little bracelet from Topshop, which cost around £8. He can either say he picked it (if he's wanting to impress her), or say that you picked it as he wasn't sure what she would like0

Another vote for Lush here, from a grown up girlie.

There are some lovely little gift sets under £10.0 -
Lush and Soap and Glory get the votes from my 14 year old niece! She's outgrown Claire's and Lush/S+G are more grown up brands!0

Another vote for a New Look voucher!0
