This car was owned from new by the previous owner. I bought it from a used car dealer which sells old cars to a maximum of around 5K on screen price. So it's highly unlikely they came this far to trade in their old car for another old one.

Main dealers usually trade on older / cheaper cars. Thus previous owner buys a new car @ Main dealer and traded in his old car. Main dealer sells your car to Arthur Daley.

Does it matter where the car comes from? If you are interested ask Arthur Daley.

Perfectly true, but you will find even the main dealer will buy in cars from auction if say he is ford dealer with several buyers wanting a year old Mondeo that he doesn't have. Believe me, they are all at it.;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

I'd never buy a car from a dealer either unless it was brand new.

Private sale is best, in my option as I have seen and heard many garages being rather cheeky selling cars with "Not roadworthy" written on the invoice, which they are not allowed to be doing anymore, when the chap says it's a lovely runner with 10 months MOT' - what a joke!!!!

    What plannet are you on...?!
